I think TLOU may very well show up at HHN. I just won’t be lining up for it very often.

I mean to be honest, Descendants of Destructions was pretty nihilistic and hopeless as well. So, they've done depressing and hopeless houses before.

I don't think it's that they don't care, it's more they will do what will work for the event. If TLOU is an easy license they'll do it, but if it's a long protracted experience to build relationships and win over stakes holders it'll be way more hard. There's a reason why Comcast/Universal/NBC properties are easy to land, they have the contacts already!

Fair enough. Let me reword that, universal dosen’t REALLY CARE. If it comes it’s not due to just people wanting it.

As someone who has to be on an ECV, I totally agree. Going through any SZ is hard usually but epically the CP SZ. When they didn’t do the lagoon show I would often go though the area just bc it was much easier.

I know this has been discussed - but what do you all think the odds actually are for us getting 11 houses? Not just for 32, but in the future.

With the option to use F&F now, as well as getting the Shrek/Minions space back - along with the MIB tent possibly being an option again, we have a lot of options for different house locations:

5 soundstage locations
3 tents
F&F
2 parade buildings
Minion location

That would add up 12 potential locations. I highly doubt that we'd see 12 (or heck, even 11), but I'm interested to see how they decide to use the locations moving forward.

I’ll come out and say Im not in favor of more houses. As someone who doesn’t go as often as probably the majority of people that have posted in this thread so far, I just find the idea of an 11th house daunting…one more thing to worry about checking off.

I get that it would spread out crowds (assuming they don’t raise the attendance cap given the extra capacity an additional house would bring, which is unlikely IMO), but all you’re doing is re-allocating people without actually reducing wait times. Sure I may wait 40 minutes next year from Blumhouse instead of 80, but I’ll have to wait that 40 for the 11th house anyway (and waste time getting to it and walking through it).

10 is perfect from a content perspective in that the themes never feel repetitive and the costs never seem spread too thin. I like it where it is.

Most people are doing 5 houses at most, a show, and then a few rides. An additional seated show and (hopefully one day) an E-Ticket ride will help balance crowds a bit. I would much rather they worry about increasing food & beverage capacity before they add more houses.

#1 complaint with the least liked house this year? Not enough scare actors. An 11th house would make it worse. I agree on the shows/rides, seems like an easy win to have ET open.

I always did find it weird that ET wasn't open. Feel like it fits in more with the HHN aesthetic than Transformers or Simpsons, honestly.

Would staffing be an issue for adding a ride though? Do they ask daytime ride-ops to work during HHN, or do they rely on people volunteering to work more hours?

E.T. isn't open during HHN cause the two Parade Buildings exit there.

Yeah, but I Imagine if they wanted to open ET they'd be able to re-route the lines somehow. I mean, they're going to have to re-route those lines for 32 anyway with the closure of KidZone.

This brings up an interesting point. Will they be done with the redo of Kidzone by then? If not, I'll be curious where the lines get re-routed.

It sounds like the KidZone replacement will open in 2024. So we'll have at least one year where the lines will have to be MAJORLY rerouted for the parade buildings.

My assumption: ET will not be open, and they'll use the ET queue as entrance for one of the parade buildings.

For the other parade building.. maybe put a portal next to Kwik E Mart or Cafe La Bamba (that one would be one hell of a walk though!).

I feel like those house entrances need to be in Springfield between Kwik-e-mart and The Simpsons Ride. house exits need to be over in Kidzone where they are. That way traffic is more consistently flowing in one direction back there.

Then again maybe I'm wrong and they can't route in Springfield. I don't know the logistics back there.

Based on the very scientific process of looking at Google Maps and measuring distance, the walk from Kwik E Mart to the entrance of the new parade building is almost exactly what the walk was for Bugs this year.

Oddly enough, it is almost exactly the same walk AGAIN from Cafe La Bamba to the old parade building.

We're gonna be walking off the pizza fries at HHN 32.

What if they do Phantom of The Opera but its not the french Phantom of the Opera but New Orleans set....and that acts as the music house as well with a custom soundtrack by a artist that is Soul/Funk inspired with a hint of darkness.
