I think the OPs this year were fine in the zones, at least in Orlando, Hollywood is another story.

I was more talking about Ops in general. The queues specifically. Sometimes the houses but I thought they were ok this year. The ones in the scare zones were fine, I honestly barely noticed them and they are necessary.

I noticed a whooole lot less security in the houses

Normally the ops give me a good jump because they're just standing there in the dark

This year they seemed absent

My husband said he has a feeling they had them facing guest going in to show that they were on camera. It has a tendency to psychologically cause people to behave. That being said, you can’t stop stupid. Especially drunk stupid.

So with Legacy saying we shouldn’t expect an 11th house (which I for one am thankful if true, as it’s already painful trying to walk all that way to 10 houses a night, don’t need more knives in my feet thank you) I feel now is when they need to add an extra show or two even though they have honestly needed more shows for a long time now.
I’m also curious how much they’ll address Ops and scare zones. Have a feeling 2023 will pretty much be standard unfortunately.

Yeah, i would love an extra show but it's probably never going to realistically happen.
Not only Is there no realistic place to put it. There's no realistic way to add anything else. It's more likely that nothing changes.

Another show would be great, but I really don't know where else they'd put one.

I've always thought it'd be awesome to have an "adults" version of the Horror Makeup Show, but that theater probably isn't big enough to justify doing that. I could possibly see them opening Bourne during the event eventually.

The only other space I could see them doing a show is in the old BMG theater - but I assume the stage and seats are all gone by now?

BMG is taken over by Grinchmas, so they can't.

Bourne is a viable option. Same as building an entire theater from scratch just like Grinchmas did years ago.

Oh, I was more thinking that they'd just have Bourne running during HHN lol.

Animal Actors isn't huge by any means, but I always wondered if they could fit another small show into that.

I’m having an interesting thought right now. With rumors floating around about half of Shrek replaced by the Minions and the house location safe, what if they convert it into a theater with a newly built food stand, restroom, and lobby as the newest spot for a third show? My suggestion for a name would be Hitchcock Theater as a tribute to Alfred Hitchcock cause that’s where The Art of Making Movies was at.

They've used Animal Actors in the past, so it's possible. The only problem with using Animal Actors is that area is always a mess due to the two house entrances and horribly placed food tents.

Bourne would work as a venue lot better, but I don't think they'll actually keep the daytime show running during the event.

I think it's more likely that "flex" space is utilized for a house.

Animal Actors has been used for several shows in the past like Freak Show (17) and Brian Brushwood (18) so it’s possible.

Didn't realize Animal Actors had been used before!

Of course, with how many house locations they have at their disposal - I wonder if they'd ever consider putting a show in a soundstage.

BMG is technically a soundstage from the outside, but that’s reserved for Grinchmas.

Grinch used to be in Soundstage 21, so they could put a show in there.

If they use Soundstage 22 again, then the queue for 23A would have to be rerouted.

Something has to change. Food Ops are at capacity, shows were mostly at or near capacity throughout the entire run this year and houses were consistently at 60+.

What about a virtual queue system?

@UniversalRBLX I was asking myself about it with The Pumpkin Lord’s suggestion except I was thinking of a street performer or a handful of go-go dancers on the non-zone areas (except the London facade entrances to Diagon Alley) of the park.
