So, is this new Fire Whiskey the fad cinnamon product? I will assume that it is. The mix with apple juice sounds like it might be an apple pie kicker.

Fireball (or Goldschlager/similar cinammon schnappes) mixed with Redds or Angry Orchards is the most delicious thing ever. It's like liquid apple pie, totally worth the judgment when you drink it too  Would make a killing at a theme park imo

Fire whiskey is 70 proof, costs $8 for a single shot, $11.75 for a double. Can be served neat, on the rocks, or in cider (for the same price). I dumped mine in a hot butterbeer. The breakfast of triwizard champions!

Wishing I was 21 so I could try it on my next trip! Eventually I will definitely be sampling it. Sounds like you enjoyed it for sure!

Heard about this Friday and then ran over to try it. It's very smooth, people who hate cinnamon have told me they love it (or at least can enjoy it without gagging).

The vessels are the plastic drinking cups, so it's not ideal. I hope small disposable shot glasses or something can be provided.

Long time reader of the forums and this is my first post.
My wife and I will be going to Universal in about 20 days and we are really excited to see Diagon Alley. What are some of your favorite things to do or see while in Diagon Alley? We want to make the most out of our trip!

Thanks!

Welcome!

1. Lunch at Leaky Cauldon.
2. Ice Cream at Florean Fortescue's.
3. Spend some time at Knockturn (Good way to beat the heat and cool off as well)
4. Make sure to see Celestina

Everything..... We were completely awed about how much there was to see & do in Diagon. The Dragon is awesome. The entertainment, all three shows, are excellent. The AA moneychanger clerk in the money exchange store is great to carry on a conversation with. All the stores are interesting. Knockturn Alley is fantastic. The interactive wands are fun. We had a great time doing the green screen dvd in the store that does it. The restaurant Leaky Cauldron, ice cream shop & outside bar are very good. Ollivanders here has a short line & it's an entertaining experience. All of the little nuances, like signs, store windows, writings are intriguing. Gringott's queue is as good as Forbidden Journey's and the ride is excellent, and better the more times you ride it. London is excellent & Hogwart's Express is one of my favorite theme park experiences anywhere. And everyone enjoys Platform 9 3/4. We spent apx. 40 hours of our Sept. vacation in Diagon, never wanted to leave, and we kept finding new things we missed on previous days. The absolute immersion of Diagon is something I can't describe, you just have to experience it. You forget there's the rest of the park when you're in Diagon. There is nothing like this, even remotely, in any other theme park...Enjoy.

Welcome to OU! Seeing every shop and going in Knockturn Alley is a must. I've only had Butterbeer ice cream from Florean's, but it's amazing. If you don't mind spending $45, buying an interactive wand let's you do tons of things across Hogsmeade and Diagon.

Don't forget to go by all the locations where the sharks use to be and cry for a while. Remember you are walking on his corpse.

In no real order

1.) Gringotts
2.) Seeing the Dragon breathe fire
3.) Olivanders
4.) Leaky Cauldron
5.) Get a drink at Hopping Pot
6.) See both versions of Tales of Beedle the Bard
7.) Get a drink at the Fountain of Fair Fortune
8.) Celestina Warbeck
9.) See all the shops
10.) Knockturn Alley
11.) See all the wand experiences.
12.) Watch at all the people experience it for the first time
13.) Repeat

Thank you for all of the wonderful suggestions! I have been following Diagon Alley since the scaffolding came off of the London water front. I know all of the pictures and videos don't do the land justice. We can't wait!

What's the general consensus on the interactive wands? My fiancee was half interested in buying one but everyone we saw trying to use them over the last week was having problems. I think we saw 2 tricks work.. people seemed to be getting frustrated and moving on so we didn't bother.

I only saw two stations broken during my last trip. One was "unofficial" and the other was down for a day.
