To say some things about Universal and this space..To Universal;

"So you did it. I must admit, I had my doubts that you could make this happen."

When this broke, I wasn't able to get the first notice of it, due to reasons. So, that said; I am extremely happy for Universal, considering that they had bought this land on a damned steal, of 130 million; where I would of thought maybe higher to 180 or even 200 million. If I was thinking on how long it'll take to get that infrastructure done..maybe mid 2018. It makes sense, given Universal; and the new struggle that's probably going to hit them like a ton of bricks; and that's fine, considering the odds.

Also, I am thinking we'll see the third park before 2025; as it makes sense..but not during the 50th anniversary of WDW. Maybe 2022, but I can't see it go much closer to 2021.

Also, if UC had plans already for that area, but wasn't able to pull it off, I wouldn't be surprised in the realm of possibility, to legacy those plans in some fashion, atleast; as a guess.

That said, I am excited to see what the hell UC has in store for us the next 7-9 years, as both stateside resorts are about to hit a true renaissance of content that's going to be awe-inspiring to see the end result.

I guess the time capsule could return.

Looking through some of the other IPs, a few are sticking out that would never get built but it's fun to imagine. Beavis and Butthead giving commentary on rides. A South Park musical with Chef's chocolate salty balls quick service. A Jackass stunt show. A Celebrity Roast show where a visitor is taking on stage and roasted.

I would love to see Nickelodeon Studios return and replace the Blue Man facade with the original and add live Double Dare shows in the soundstage!

The likelihood of any of those properties coming are pretty close to non-existent...

I highly doubt Nickelodeon Studios will return. But some of the stuff they did at the Nick hotel for entertainment could transfer if they made the acquisition.

Yeah I doubt it too, and if it did probably not the way I described. Wishful thinking though!

If they bought Nick, I think a TMNT redo of Mummy would be freaking awesome.

Yeah I could only see Nickleodeon and Star Trek being used from Paramount if that happened. TMNT especially with the new movies being made getting its own ride.

Really? Hmmm... I guess it is compact. Just seems like so much larger than the Uni parks when it it. Guess it is just perception because of the no big huge lake in the middle. More smaller waterways.

Take a look at google maps, look at the lakes of both parks and pick a ride building. You will see the huge lakes aren't actualy that big. Universal is giving us a great optical illusion, and sure you can put something there, but the parks wouldn't feel so spacious.

Wow, only 130, thats a lot of land for little money. Can't wait to hear about the plans they have.

As long as it doesn't mess with the facade too much (meaning make it overly cartoon-ish), i'd be for it.

I would love to see a Legacy Land in their new park. New rides based on old ip's like ghostbusters, Jaws, bttf and the Universal monsters would be awesome. There is so much more possible now then when those old rides where build, I would love to see that.

I think Universal could do a Nickelodeon Hotel right, wouldn't be a bad choice for the theme of the next value property.

Happy times indeed. This news is cause for great excitement for both Orlando theme park fans and employees. And not just Universal employees. Everyone who earns from the Orlando amusement industry should be enthusiastic about this and the boon of industry it will provide for all.

No, there's one near Disney that has been around about ten years. It's been mismanaged the past few years and is now in the process of becoming a Holiday Inn.
