Exciting news. Makes it feel more real to think we have the first Universal European park sometime in 2030-31 assuming no significant delays. Epic was formally announced in 2019, with a goal of 2023 (there was already dirt moving in the area when it was announced).

Universal Creative sure has its hands full with the addition of this on top of all the future projects at the existing parks.

Comcast is truly being bullish on its investments into theme parks which are exciting times.

In all seriousness, happy to see Britain moving forward especially in a prominent way. Early guesses from the map makes me think this:

- Hollywood (with maybe a potential extra bit for Jaws? Unsure)
- Paddington or Trolls
- Hill Valley
- Jurassic
- Wicked
- Waterworld
- Minion Land (using the Beijing layout)

First thoughts, this isn't the finished Park. It's not based on the actual Kempston location.

So DreamWorks, BTTF, Jurassic, WaterWorld (maybe as a placement for Bond hopefully), something Fantasy and Minions. Not bad.

This assumes that this park's content isn't vastly different than what they end up creating. I still think some of Universal's IPs are considered placeholder until they can (or if) license more UK properties.

Was hoping for more themed areas like islands of adventure and epic universe, the mock up is very much a universal studios style park, which I guess makes sense with more indoor attractions, but even that has Harry Potter lands, so curious what they are not showing us yet, the concept art feels quite monotonous theme wise

Not to get our hopes up, but to the right of Hollywood/Park Entrance... there's Jaws. The HQ version of the image shows the photo op shark in the middle of a lake with Amity-looking facades in the area.

Also, this area is definitely courthouse square in design. That little top cut out at the top looks like the cinema/theater facade from the films. While these concepts are expected to change, it is great to see Universal consider their classic IPs once again.

This could just be pure coincidence, but this looks like Shrek.

Of course this is the first initial round of public concept art that can change dramatically over time. Can easily see Shrek being a "placeholder" IP until they can find (or formally announce) a British IP.

I feel like it’s a place holder because it is soo lightly themed and there is non themed buliding behind it
