I still think Zelda is going to IoA tbh. That might change idk, but I'm pretty sure it's going to be: Luigi’s Mansion (Epic -expansion plot), Pokémon (USF- Simpsons land) and Legend of Zelda (IoA- Lost Continent).

Is one of the expansion plots that other path on the left of the entrance? It looks like it's just more backstage stuff but I could be wrong, though the space behind the store next to the entrance looks like it could be an expansion plot too.

Maybe some circles could help too? Trying to wrap my head around where the possible expansion plots are is a bit tough when I'm not super up to speed with the Orlando rumors. ^^''

The 1.25 one definitely looks attraction sized, which could suit that rumored Luigi's Mansion thing. The plot between Nintendo and Dark Universe feels like it could be a Wild Card.

The plot between Nintendo & Dark Universe would be where Luigi's would go so they could create the whole "haunted forest" vibes leading to the ride. They'd want it hidden to make it extra spooky.

The small plot to the left of Nintendo is meant to be part of Celestial Park.

The plot behind Dark Universe is rumored for Creature From The Black Lagoon.

Fair point, I just thought the walkway in the other one for Celestial Park could achieve the same vibe but that also makes sense.

That is supposed to be an indoor event space going in there (essentially a sound stage)

Correct-- it was supposed to be Lord of the Rings at one point, but it would be a fifth land.

Lots of Expansion space. Epic, once grown out, will be pretty large. But opening day Epic is probably smaller than people are expecting. You can't really count most of Helios acreage since most of it is not part of the park for admission. Opening day is probably a tad under 80 acres, guest space. Decent size but not MK level size.

This is something I've been trying to be cognizant of. It's easy to let your brain run wild, especially after waiting and hyping this park up for so long. Epic will probably be a little bit smaller in scale than I think or maybe even hope. It won't be endlessly expansive; very few theme parks are. Most likely, not every ride is going to hit for me. There might be some duds, or even complete dissapointments. Things that don't quite work out perfect or that could be really improved. That is all entirely possible.

But that all just comes with the territory, and I don't think it should diminish the excitement of this brand new theme park. I think it's a healthy, good idea to go in with reasonable expectations in order to make sure I don't end up bummed when EU doesn't live up to impossible standards that no theme park can hit. Every park that I frequent has been around for 20+ years, and Epic on opening day probably won't be as fleshed out as that. That's fine! It's just good to keep the actual scope of the park in mind haha.

I do not think Lands are Epic enough, Universal is building Portals that transport you to Worlds.

I think "lands" was established as an industry term/expectation by Disneyland but the word "world" is a more recent marketing term for an IP universe. But not just in theme parks but in consumer products/media too. In theme parks I think they're interchangeable as terms but we'll continue to see "world" more in guest-facing naming/marketing.

I was thinking the same thing. The expansion plot is nearly the same size as all of opening-day SNW, which has three attractions. The park overall is going to need a lot more attractions (not all E-tickets) so I hope it's packed. Yet...the more they squeeze in there, the more dubious I am that the only way in and out would be the existing portal. Requiring crowds to backtrack that much to get out seems questionable.

I feel like awhile back there was rumors for omnimover shooter ride, 2 flat rides, and dining. So it’d work.
