They’re not meant to be even remotely the same, the portals are unique specifically to Epic Universe. I like the portal a lot better honestly.

Oh I know, it's consistent with the space theme. It just really changes the engery of it.

It's kinda jarring to see side by side like this lol. I'm use to the Hollywood/Japan ones that the Epic portal looks off to me. Still looks great though regardless

I agree with you.

Each entrance is unique which is nice to distinguish the parks.

Ours at Epic is definitely the most elaborate of the three.

The Portal has class. The other two look cheap.

The green pipe is actually inside the portal.

Dang. The other parks get a pipe for people to pose with for pictures and we get a trash can. Epic fail.

I was never huge on Epic’s concept from the get-go but I can be sold if the portals look really, really good. Dark Universe’s portal looks awesome.

Unfortunately, the SNW one is a downgrade, imo. And if they don’t include the entrance plaza music, I’ll die.

perhaps i read this wrong, but alicia, among others, have made it pretty clear we’re still getting the green pipe. you just walk through the portal before walking through a green pipe. like sometimes you have to connect through a place you don’t want to go (phoenix sky harbor airport) to go somewhere you do want to go (anywhere else on earth).

Huh, that sounds funky lol. We’re teleporting to teleport? Why not just make it a green pipe in the first place, ahaha.

But yeah, I think the pipe is a little more charming. It’s like “oooo, what awaits inside?” Besides the SNW logo and the pipes, it’s pretty restrained. Creates hypothetical curiosity. While the epic portal has the character faces on it with the powers up spewing out at the top, and the “here we go!” thingy. It’s a little more eccentric, grandiose, and I think I prefer the more simple entrance.

But this isn’t a diss on the entrance or anything. Just more of a thematic observation.

Also, they forgot to put Daisy on the portal entrance so nvm, it’s a 0/10 :P

the portal fits the theme of celestial park, so i get it. i also (personally) think it looks better than the green pipe with the flat background, but i don’t feel strongly about it.

I've already done everything there is to do in SNW (I have visited both Japan's and Hollywoods versions) but I'm still so excited to have it in Florida. It looks basically done at this point

I think Orlando might have some surprises up it's sleeve. It's also the biggest one so it's gonna feel a lil different too probably.

‘Here we go’ … as my ride vehicle delicately floats out of Wendy’s bedroom window following Peter Pan. That’s just engrained in my mind every time I hear “Here we go!”.

The difference between the entrance to the land, you haven't gotten a proper "ground view" of the entrance portal. Also it's still finishing the details

As for my nitpick... not me noticing all that space directly behind Donkey Kong & thinking IF ONLY the ride building was pushed back to the street, they could've squeezed a flat ride into DK's area

Also that plot of land directly behind the Nintendo giftshop is rumored for Luigi's Haunted Mansion right?
