On the other, I get the feeling there's gonna be a bigger rate of sold out and busy days in addition to Death Eaters...hoo boy.

Hopefully those rumors of more power up games being added (such as the musical note blocks or slot machine game) turn out to be true. This Toad news give me more hope of that happening.

My Guess is Yoshi could come out before the next film but I think many other side characters will come out around the next film. Thats just my guess but would be an easy tie in for the film and think these 4 characters will get lines for the next year with no issues.

I could easily see Daisy being the first new character to come once they do add more, since whatever designs went into Peach could easily serve as a base to make Daisy. That's my personal hard read for future characters.

My guesses are next year 2024 we could see some of the 4 characters we have now in some sort of costume for Christmas

Yoshi in 2025

Dairy/other characters in 2026/when ever the next film is out

What's the harm in spitballing for fun? I'm well aware we won't get a new character in the land anytime soon, I just wanted to toss out an idea for once we do. Not trying to hold my breath for specific time frames.

If you guys want to engage in wishful thinking/armchair imagineering/things along those lines, I think we should consider doing it in a different thread. The reality is that, right now, these are the four characters the land can handle.

I'm confused, what other characters? As far as I'm aware the only character unique to Japan thus far is Bowser Jr.

Why would the most popluar land that has the longest wait for characters (besides the Grinch) not get more characters ever?

Harry Potterland got death eaters, it would be amazing idf we didn't get at the very least Yoshi and Bowser Jr.

I personally am not saying we won't ever get them. They could make special appearances to drive repeat visits several years down the road. But right now, there are no plans on the horizon.
