Interesting how the new 2D Mario has all of the characters with wristbands as playable... (This is the first 2D console Mario game in history where Peach, Daisy and Yoshi are playable. Daisy is especially bizzare, as if we don't count the Mario Run mobile game, this is her first time appearing in a mainline game in 32 years).

I wonder if Super Nintendo World had any influence on the developers of this game. Probably a stretch, but you never know. Would be crazy to have a game that could potentially interact with Super Nintendo World.

Ride update: Mario Kart has been closing an hour early now compared to 30mins from park closing. Not sure if this has been mentioned yet. Similar to Rise at DLR where it closes early.

I've been seeing that too. I think I remember seeing it on my last two visits as well.

EDIT: It slipped my mind, but I recently learned there's more unique merch than just the Tokotoko Mario Toy that has yet to come to USH. For instance, there's an actual Universal Cup trophy as well. I honestly hope we can get those in the future as well. From what I saw it looked sick.

I think auditions for the character were not too long ago. Maybe they're either still casting the role or training the actors? I don't really know.

Not sure if things really work this way, but whenever the SMM is out on DVD and Peacock, maybe an easy tie in promotion is to bring Toad to the land? Easy win-win corporate synergy moment.

The new Mario games plus Mario Oreos make it clear to me Nintendo doesn’t care about tie ins

They release what they want when they want because if I was Nintendo, the new Mario game would have been out the week of the film but Nintendo did not care abs are releasing it months after the film

It seemed like Peach was out whenever Mario and Luigi were not, so that would be a nice balance if their set times matched up.

If Peach and Toad shared a time, I just wonder if that would dilute the character lines for Peach or not, considering the demand the land itself already gets.

I'm going later today, and I checked at 7 am for Toadstool reservations. They were easy to get at 7 am, but they only were only listed through 2:45 pm, which is kind of weird. I had wanted later than that, but I just took the 2:45 since that was the latest they had. I wonder if they allow walk-ins after 4:00 or something, because it can't be reservation only after that. I kept checking to see if they would open later times after the earlier ones went, and I did see the earlier times slowly going, but now they're all gone and the date is greyed out, with no other times ever being posted.

Maybe it could be a newer rollout of reservation slots, similar to how supposedly some virtual times open up later in the day when they're needed.

I hope so, the system now is not ideal for most people

Apparently they do it in 2 windows now. The 7 am window has reservations for 9 am until 2:45 pm. Then there's another window that opens around 10 or 11 am that has reservations for 3 pm until near closing.
