Or, it could just be a house with no external context.

I don't know anything about houses for 30. It's why I don't really want to discuss it. My expectations are based on speculation only.

I mean a house that incorporates all of Terra Cruentes. Basically a house that tells the story of the Gorewood Blade and the sacrifice of the Queen.

Ah yes, I love it now...The story of Terra Cruentes was certainly unappreciated in its time.

I could totally see one of the 21 houses coming back for the “requel” house this year, my bet would be Nightengales or Inbetween; those seem to be the 2 most talked about from 21.

*not from 21 but I would LOVE to see Orfanage or Catacombs given another go.

Edit - Also are TWD movies being released to theaters or AMC? Can’t really see them being box office hits unless they take the series back to its earlier seasons styles

Don't they construct the springs first?

Depends.

And they've started not building Sprung facades until summer anyway, so it won't tell us much.

I could’ve sworn they start the tents a lot earlier(like in February) than everything else. Ouija & Conjuring were lost in like May of 2017 but both were already fully complete.

No. It's because backstage photos of under construction facades keep making it online.

Just because it's not posted here, doesn't mean Universal isn't concerned about it.

I’m curious to see where/how they balance the IPs this year. Last year’s was 3 in the front, 2 in the back. ST2 & possibly Hill House are for sure getting soundstages but I can’t see KKFOS or Hellraiser getting ones if they came.

Oh, I think Hellraiser might. Imagine a facade midway through, of the hellscape.

Oh yes, it certainly is an issue...Considering anyone can take a helicopter over the parks, and basically stand on a rooftop overlooking the parks...Backstage stuff is not as secret as it once was

Fans are developing too much of a "30 has to have X and Y and Z" mindset. That's where the divisiveness will come in.

Not to jump the gun, here's what I expect to see at 30:

Stranger Things
An anniversary house
The Walking Dead (based on the upcoming movies)
A Terra Cruentes house

I KNEW IT

I've been calling TWD coming back to HHN ever since those movies were announced. So this wouldn't shock me in the slightest. Plus I figured that TWD was a HUGE property for them in their history anyway that one could argue pushed the needle for HHN to go from more of a locals thing to something that people fly in for (and locals still enjoy).

As someone who never got the opportunity to see TWD in action, part of me would enjoy seeing how HHN handles it in person, while the HHN fan in me kind of wants to see it dead. It seems pretty unanimous that it overstayed its welcome.

In my opinion TWD will probably feel a little bit like Saw did in HHN27, in that it’s somewhat welcomed back due to how long it’s been since it was at the event. As long as the house isn’t like Hollywood’s attraction it should be fine.

Back to 29, what are the odds that Chucky could potentially show up over KKFOS?

Wanna point out a big reason why I think 29 won’t be two parks: the MIB tent. Last year they added foundation to the location rather than using a raised platform. This allowed larger set pieces for HoB2. No way they’re giving up on that location next year. And, if they decide to include it as a house location for a dual park event, that’s gonna be a hell of a walk.

To me, the likelihood is lower now than it was at the beginning of the week.
