Id agree. Would personally prefer Pokémon to take over Toon Lagoon.

But Disneyhead did mention they would be reconfiguring the HHN sprung tents, so I’d imagine Pokémon would be bigger than just MiB

If they use the present MIB building for a Nintendo 1.25 expansion shooting attraction, they can keep MIB open until the opening of MoM, and then start the conversion. Less park capacity problems if they do it that way, and it would give MIB a good two more years. Seem to recall that MIB RV's & ride system needs revamped regardless.

Yea, I don’t think MIB, if it is indeed becoming Pokémon, would go down until MoM opens up

In a way, they could also do a city-like set of facades, with possibly Castelia City from Black and White, and then for the attraction go and do a Mario Kart type of attraction that takes you through some of the most iconic Pokemon locations, with varied and unique kinds of Pokemon, along with the most iconic Pokemon from all of the generations.

I wouldn't be surprised about that, but I think they could do something that celebrates the entire franchise as opposed to just the first generation.

Wow. My anticipation for this land is through the roof now. I'm just waiting on the MK leaks.... Anyone have any idea how high the ride vehicle will be above the real track? I cant imagine it needs to be too high for the illusion to work.

I heard they have a finished prototype somewhere. The goggles used for the ride, are supposed to be next level too.

Yea, there's creatures/characters coming to Mushroom Kingdom theming I've never heard of, and I haven't played Mario games in over a decade. So clearly they're pulling from the worlds in all eras to make the new lands. Makes sense. This way it can appeal to multiple generations.

Yea, there's creatures/characters coming to Mushroom Kingdom theming I've never heard of, and I haven't played Mario games in over a decade. So clearly they're pulling from the worlds in all eras to make the new lands. Makes sense. This way it can appeal to multiple generations.

That makes me wonder about how much will be around in the Mushroom Kingdom and in Mario Kart/Yoshi now..

But nevertheless, you bring a valid point. It would give not only variety, but also allowing fans of all the generations to love what they see, but to also bringing in possibility to bring in potential abilities to add more animatronics for future generations of Pokemon.

Not sure tbh, didn't ask who was making them. Was told they had these new amazing goggles with the best peripheral vision but they would have to go back and change all the animation for the ride. So not sure which goggles will be the final ones used.

and...probably one of the many reasons for the delays in building SNL......I would guess the prototype would be where they've been developing the rides, Ogden, Utah.

Speaking of great ideas in Super Mario Odyssey I just played an amazing level that had me smiling the whole time. I won’t spoil it but for those who’ve gotten to New Donk City you’ll know what I’m talking about

My daughter has not been in NDC long....there is too much in there...but something from the Japan art work that I was wondering about...well this game seems to have things that would be more practical to design into an area...

I did see a billboard for mount volbono or something, but isn’t most humor in video games a spoof of something else anyway?

Well, that's a bummer if it comes to pass. As someone with not very much knowledge of Pokemon (and even less personal attachment), it would be difficult for me to conceive of an attraction based around it that I would enjoy more than (or even as much as) MIB.
