Nintendo Coming to Universal Parks

Goodness, an awful lot of concept art has leaked on this project...

What I've gathered is THIS leak came in two waves: one was some plans made semi-public at various points after announcement. Second was Gary Snyder getting the stuff from what it seems is the legal firm working with UOR and Nintendo as an intermediary for contract talks. The plans have changed significantly since then (no Zelda, no Kirby, etc).

Yes, and while some of this leaked concept art may bare *some* resemblance to the finished product, none of what we've seen so far is *actually* what they're working from now. It was all preliminary, pre-deal with Nintendo, and doesn't necessarily reflect what they're actually going to build.

I'm guessing, but I'd imagine Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Bowser will definitely be in there

I am curious if Wario will appear, as he was in the original pitches for Super Nintendo World's Mario Kart.

But yeah, those four I would assume are locks, although I don't think it's impossible that we may see two extra characters have a possible inclusion.

I really have not been following this thread....but it is around my daughter's B-day...and she got a Switch this year...we were just playing Mario Odyssey...I just think Nintendo has such cool landscapes and ideas...but in like the 1st land or something...we got to fly a boat that looked so much like Me Ship Olive (if they could somehow through those steampunk gears under it for flight)...just seemed like it could be converted...no clue how far, how many areas (as I fully expect them to try more Comcast Family of properties, but man, this partnership has so many possibilities...this first part (in my opinion) is really going to open UNI to a whole new popularity...

I mean, cmon, think of the public backlash if they built a Nintendo area without a Yoshi office of weights and standards. I mean, that's like, not even worth going to.

Didn't @Legacy also refer to Pokemon at MIB?

If they use the present MIB building for a Nintendo 1.25 expansion shooting attraction, they can keep MIB open until the opening of MoM, and then start the conversion. Less park capacity problems if they do it that way, and it would give MIB a good two more years. Seem to recall that MIB RV's & ride system needs revamped regardless.

In a way, they could also do a city-like set of facades, with possibly Castelia City from Black and White, and then for the attraction go and do a Mario Kart type of attraction that takes you through some of the most iconic Pokemon locations, with varied and unique kinds of Pokemon, along with the most iconic Pokemon from all of the generations.
