Goodness, an awful lot of concept art has leaked on this project...

Notice the trees at every gap in the guest-visible areas...

Foliage can do wonders for hiding things. Also, if they mix that with the mirror-wall trick from FJ to hide the ride vehicle arms it could be very convincing from certain angles.

You also see the boom arm and the “real track” pretty clearly proving my worries of an outdoor section potentially shattering the illusion.

Keep in mind, these are also proof of concept - concept art. Its so they can show them what they can do- and when they ask "how" they can point to that portion and say "but we will obscure that part of the track from view, so the guest will only see the cart jumping", etc.

Basically- don't count on it looking just like that. Some will be better, some will be worse.

Firstly, I am HYPED about this. It looks amazing. This is "next-level" roller coaster stuff. Totally Inventive. Thank You UC!
What I am significantly more interested is 2 things:

1) Will it tilt and yaw on the axis? If so that would be over-the-top insane. Tilt back when jumping, then level off, etc. It doesn't look like it from concept, and it could be a nightmare for maintenance- So I could see them not incorporating.
2) Will it be LIM so they can very speed? Although the "cart on a track" doesn't lend itself to that, they could incorporate it in places. Although that Barrel with the arrow at the top of the lift hill in the CAD drawing could easily be LIM. In the game, those power ups would "launch" you.

Not so sure this is actually outside. It could be fake jungle backdrops in a showbuilding with controlled lighting, so may not be so obvious.

Yeah, two years ago I found out there would be an indoor coaster, even though then I had no idea what it would be for or about.

I have to admit for everything that’s coming to the parks in the next couple years this ride is the one I am most excited for. Every time playing the game all I could think is how cool would it be to ride it in real life. I fit the theme park demo to a “T” lol. Just my 2 cents, thank you for all the knowledge that’s being shared.

1) Without actually knowing, I'm gonna guess no. I think the real track will simulate those moves by having the fake track below the rider compartment not match up.

2) Yea, there's definitely gonna be launches

So somewhere between Big thunder and SDMT sounds about right? Half way between for thrills and length, halfway between for scenes (obviously nothing as grandiose as the dwarf mine scene), more akin to Big Thunder's simpler placemaking.

Wow. My anticipation for this land is through the roof now. I'm just waiting on the MK leaks.... Anyone have any idea how high the ride vehicle will be above the real track? I cant imagine it needs to be too high for the illusion to work.

With how much is seeming to be coming for Nintendo World (with Donkey Kong ever rising), I think we'll be fine without Odyssey being incorporated.

Donkey Kong and Mario Kart sounds like gamechangers, in different aspects; and the fact that S&S is doing Donkey Kong (at-least from what it looks like) is fascinating.

just a fun fact for everyone...popularity of games translates differently in other places....US version isn't available yet but just to highlight games people may scream oh this IP is super popular and other properties are niche do not always translate that way.

Does anyone predict Super Nintendo World would be open for Halloween Horror Nights? I know it's far away from this year, but since SNW would likely be at Universal Studios Hollywood and Florida, I would like to know the predictions since WWOHP is closed at Hollywood during HHN.

Animal Crossing ride confirmed

I wonder if there will be an interactive mail checking experience,
and people around the town forget your name if you don't visit often enough

I'll have to visit often so I don't have to pick weeds or step on cockroaches when I come back after awhile.

Get off the ride and a little screen will shame you for not taking care of the grass.

It would only have to be as tall as the highest elevation change (where a “jump” is) in the track.
