Disney has multiple different pass tiers, and so will USH. They're starting from scratch.

I'll throw a guess on when it comes out;

The week after Thanksgiving or possibly Black Friday, we'll get the new version of Universal's AP to launch.

I guess I'll be watching USH's website carefully over the next several days.  :)

I actually thought Universal would have released the new Annual Pass program by now. And I wonder if the new Disney AP pricing structure influenced and possibly changed Universal's pass structure and pricing. Regardless, I'll be eager to see what they begin selling.

*casually preparing for sticker shock*

I really hope USH decides to upgrade their passes to nicer plastic ones like Disney instead of the crappy paper ones they currently have.

Well that's just poor planning on their part then. It just looks nicer.

Here! Here! I hate having to worry about the ink fading. For Pete's sake, even Six Flags had plastic cards. Even during GE's reign of terror the passes were plastic cards. I don't see why they can't do that? Isn't Universal green? They don't seem to care about the trees. Also, they better offer a pass with parking. I loathe having to nearly pay $20 a pop.

I don't know if this has been said, but is it possible that Universal may do a parking pass? Cedar Fair and Six Flags does this as a way to get more profit, and it could make sense, considering that Universal Studios Hollywood wants the extra money.

Every time I have had the Ink on my pass fade, I just go to the Universal Box office and they re print my pass no questions asked.

Instead of plastic cards, I would love to see Universal develop an iPhone app.  If Six Flags, SeaWorld, and Disney all have apps where you can load your pass onto and use to gain entry, there is no reason Universal shouldn't offer one as well.

They have to offer something for parking. Even Disney gives you that option. Brover mentioned this in the Potter thread (I think), but in terms of price limits, Disney is that line. To not offer parking would be to go past that line and damper the goodwill of the guests.It just seems like a poor value if you pay for the most expensive pass, yet you are not given a free parking option. You're paying $400/$500 to get in for $18 a pop. That's pretty insane and that's a poor value. They need to offer some parking option.

The lack of parking at the highest of pass options will turn me off from buying it, at that point I will invest my season pass money at another venue as the parking will off set the value to me.

I really feel that anything less then whats offered at Florida is really a slap in the face, and they offer parking on two passes in Florida if i'm reading the site right...

Man the suspense and the feelings that universal will keep dropping the ball on season passes and fan fair is killing me.........

I have had a season pass with parking for as long as I can remember, and the thought that it could be over makes me very sad. :(
