Yes Nintendo wants to get things out of this agreement, but it’s still Universal’s Park. Not letting a low tier IP take up space for something that could draw crowds.

With Super Nintendo World Mario already being built vertically I would assume the rest of the park would also be built vertically as well meaning no real spatial limitations. Some attractions can be above/underneath others. Also thanks to the PolerCoaster approval, the sky is now the limit for Site B. As for low tier IPs, Universal is building a Jason Bourne Attraction so that excuse has gone out the door.

Wii series is third best selling franchise so prepare yourself for the Universal Studios Wii Fit Yoga Studio and hourly Wii Music musical performances! And and maybe a make your own Mii amibo shop (ala the cast yourself in carbonite statues at Disneyland) which would actually be pretty neat.

The Wii concept and name is dead though so no it wouldn’t make sense. Only Miis really remain and even then the Mii creator on Switch is pretty hidden compared to how front and center it was on Wii, 3DS, and Wii U.

When you’ve already got the hugeness of their big 3 a small corner can represent other less significant IPs. Maybe not major attractions but still representation.

Seriously, we have hundreds of posts expecting Pokemon. The only thing that would completely stop them from showing up is GameFreak. Any franchise that isn't in the top 10 franchises (or a new blockbuster like Splatoon) is unlikely to get much more than a meet-and-greet.

Universal doesn't have to pay royalties out the nose for Jason Bourne. They're not going to give Nintendo gobs of money to build a Metroid ride or a Star Fox ride because no one cares about them.

Learn to understand cynicism, one. Two, it's not about "being serious" - it's about maintaining clarity and logic through a reality-based discussion so this place doesn't become a circular hell of implausible ideas and noise. There's a few of us that do that.

Three - I was born in America, so it's actually a right for me to live here. If you're going to (even jokingly) say to not put facts up, don't be surprised that someone is going to make some social commentary.

Four - I'd advise against making assumptions about the people on this board. We're diverse, and more than a name on a screen.

I still refuse to believe the Jason Bourne stunt show is happening despite every insider confirming it is. :crazy: The difference here though is that Bourne is a Universal IP so the corporate overlords who were responsible for Fast & Furious no doubt championed the idea of adding Bourne in the name of synergy. Mind you, I'm not sure what they are trying to synergize with at this point. I guess the "Treadstone" pilot at USA might get picked up into a series?
