I wonder what CityWalk 2.0 design is gonna take inspiration from ???

With the southern site being close to the convention center, and having stuff like Nintendo as a potential headliner, i think a lot of the shops there would be more geared towards the convention-goer and/or new audience of "nerds/fans" that Nintendo could bring in (though not to an extent that's detrimental to drawing in locals) and that potentially could be reflected in whatever theme they go for a design. Though really with "Citywalk 2.0" a design to me is a bit shrug besides that they shouldn't do citywalk over again and they should try to not make it feel like just an outlet/mall as best they can.

I really thought a Halo Land would be pretty neat if Universal could create it. Who knows the tv series that is being worked on could be a hit. I think halo would be cool in a similar style attraction like alien encounter at Tomorrowland doesn’t exist anymore but you know the alien that was in the glass that broke out while the lights turned off? If anyone remembered. Maybe have Cortana speaking in glassed box similar setting while you travel with Master Chief on his adventure no 3D glasses though.

I agree as I really don’t what direction they can go with this retail/restaurant concept. Maybe it should be themed to Nintendo but maybe not the whole complex. Uni Creative can really go wild with some original ideas here.

Is it possible that SNW could get a fully revamped (brand new layout in addition to a couple of extra rides) in the new park, to make it more like SWGE? They don’t have to deal with the spacial limitations that USF, USH, and USJ had to deal with.

I hope it does if it plans on being an anchor for the whole park. At least some expansion pads ready if they don’t open with the park.

Typically new parks open with expansions planned not too long into the future. It's also possible that not everything opens with the park, although I think that's more of a Disney thing historically. Of course sometimes it's healthier to open a park and let a ride finish on it's own time rather than rush it. USF Jaws (rebuilt practically from scratch) and Volcano Bay (various issues parkwide) are prime examples of why rushing rides to meet a deadline isn't always the best idea.

What about a New Donk City/Metro Kingdom area? It’d be a great change-up from the more natural landscaped areas of the Mushroom Kingdom and Donkey Kong Country, and there’s a ton merch, play area, and easter egg potental.

Halos feels like Pandora, it should be a ride but not a land.

Halo as a franchise is on decline. No way it’s on any of the big theme park player’s mind.

Umm, how? It’s getting a live action TV series and Infinite is getting a lot of hype. No, it’s not as big as some other franchises (Nintendo) but it’s not on the decline, either. It’ll get an attraction somewhere.

While getting any IP get adapted into another form of media indicates popularity, at the same time, the adaptation either can increase the popularity (Pokemon after the tv show came out) or decrease it immensely (warcraft).

I'm against Halo because they are already way better story based games that fit better.

I'm not saying Halo would come here, because Nintendo would never allow that in a million years. But it'll go somewhere else.

Halo isn't the property it once was and has become muddied overall. There really isn't much discussion of it beyond "wow The Master Chief Collection was a mess".

More than likely would see Monster Hunter, Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy, and a bunch of other japanese RPG with Universal already having done projects and made plans for those IPs than we would see Halo or any other US based games.

However probably won't happen with this park being family focused and those games trend older and still are somewhat not super mainstream stateside.

....The Master Chief Collection is loved by most people, other than the messy multiplayer launch. And that's been fixed for a while now. Not to mention that the game went on Xbox Gamepass and got a 4K update, so more people are playing it now. Y'all are underestimating Halo

Ehh, I could see Monster Hunter in the park somehow. It'd make a great mini-land, and Nintendo has worked with them before.

TV shows are always high risk (especially prestige sci-fi), and Infinite is not getting a lot of "hype." If anything, it's more intrigue if 343 can recover from Guardians' lukewarm reception and Master Chief Collection's disastrous launch.

If we’re looking at popular culture with lots of $ we would have had a Titanic ride years ago.

Look for the content, not the $

I still think a Mortal Engines land could be awesome, but the movie is gonna bomb. They picked the worst time to release it and it looks cliche as hell.
