Not to get our hopes up, but to the right of Hollywood/Park Entrance... there's Jaws. The HQ version of the image shows the photo op shark in the middle of a lake with Amity-looking facades in the area.

Also, this area is definitely courthouse square in design. That little top cut out at the top looks like the cinema/theater facade from the films. While these concepts are expected to change, it is great to see Universal consider their classic IPs once again.

There’s a large showbuilding attached to the buildings behind what looks like Jaws. Are we finally getting the INDOOR Jaws revival?

I also agree that the area to the left of the map 100% looks like Hill Valley. It could be a Delorean coaster using the Hollywood Drift system.

Overall this looks like it could be the best universal park to date. It combines the old and new. We haven’t even gotten land announcements yet and I’m already going on a limb and saying this lol.

Looks like I’ll be buying a plane ticket to jolly old England in 2031

I don't think that area in back is Jurassic because I think the large show building in the back plus the village with the coaster is one area unlike the other areas. (DreamWorks boxes itself same as the minions placeholder same as the back to the future and waterworld. The back area all flow together. Its likely a fantasy IP though.

There appear to be the Jurassic hut buildings to the top left like we see at IOA. I’m not sure if the green coaster and big showbuilding are part of that though.

He was a troll. now that UGB is confirmed, he knows he can longer do that. Here are some of my other thoughts:

Find it interesting that Wicked doesn't not appear to be alluded to in the concept art. Maybe they are concerned by the time UGB opens in 2031 it won't be as relevant, or they can't make it work with the no Orlando clone mandate

I am pretty sure the Jurassic World area will be something that hasn't yet been seen at any other Universal park

Hopefully we get a bespoke DM dark ride that does the IP justice. No more Minion Mayhem

I agree I think building a Minion Mayhem in 2031 is insane. The franchise deserves a proper dark ride, something at least at the level SoLP got at Universal Hollywood.

I doubt it. It's interesting Universal didn't use B&M at Epic Universe, they might not use them here either.

Is that an amphitheater on the water on the left? Like at the America pavilion?

I wouldn't read too much into the specifics of this concept art. The first artistic rendering of Universal Kids Resort was not indicative of the final design.

Although Epic was. With only a few small differences, but all the lands stayed the same.

Yeah, I can see them going with either Intamin or Mack based on their recent coasters.

Exactly. I think that this layout will be pretty close to reality.

Awesome to finally see official concept art!

I assume the left hand side after the main entrance is an onsite hotel-I always love seeing them being directly attached.

Admin building before turnstiles in Orlando looks like it's on the right-hand side of the fountain at the entrance.

Going off earlier comments, I've convinced myself the tall coast in the left side of the image will be a BTTF coaster.

Area before that could be Trolls or Dreamworks?

Across the pond (sorry I had to) definitely looks like Jurassic World. Could it be a Beijing clone? If so, super jealous but it's a great usage of the Scoop ride system.

The green coaster clockwise from Jurassic...that's gonna be Wicked isn't it?

Looking at the concept art a bit more, a few thoughts trickle out:

  • Jurassic seems to be taking up the majority of the northern section of the park. Architecture matches what is present with the main big showbuilding (that seemingly matches with Beijing's JWA layout).
  • The Waterworld area feels too simplistic for me to think it is infact, Waterworld.
  • The area in-between Hollywood + Hill Valley is absolutely Paddington. Signage can be noticed in the artwork that seems to have while blurred, the likeness of Sir. Paddington Bear infront of what seems to be a suspended spinner (like what Beijing has in KFP and what Singapore has in Minion Land)

Holy. Crap. I'd never even considered a modern Jaws attraction using that Shanghai Pirates ride system or even the more simple Mack rocking boat concept. That would be incredible! With the clear BTTF land on the left side of that art, a Jaws attraction doesn't sounds too unrealistic.

Isn't the tribute store in Orlando this summer supposed to have a Jaws theme? Between things like that, the escape rooms, BTTF touring show, and that rumored summer retro movie celebration that seemed like it was close to happening, maybe they really are doing more with these older franchises now!

At first glance, taking the art at face value, it looks like an enviable lineup.

If this park gets a JAWS ride, it will be final proof that I really am being trolled by Universal at the highest levels.

“Take the things Belloq wants to see at USF... and give them to the other parks!”
