Guys... You're getting a total of five Yoshi variants...

In hindsight, this being the justification to bring Yoshi back for FFN; expanding the total amount of M&G Yoshis to compensate the loss of the Scavenger Hunt, is unironically kind of a better option? Actually surprised on a pleasant element that this seems to be them "simplifying" and refining the experience from last year, while also adding more in the context of characters to interact with.

Simply adding additional Yoshi meet and greet opportunities should help ease congestion, remove an unnecessary obstacle that wasn't fun to navigate, and improve the guest experience, assuming they have at least three Yoshis out at any given time.

I do wish they were able to get the drone idea off the ground, but hopefully that'll be a "Next Year" element.

The Bowser Jr boss area could hold 2 of them. The Mario and Luigi area and Tooad area plus the extended Q like last year

3 is better then the 2 last year....but I could still see the lines being insane because this is the only Nintendo themed thing at the event

I wasn't saying I was ungrateful for that or anything, I'm just a bit perplexed by the color lineup. Even aside from my favorite color, pretty sure Red Yoshis have always been one of the most prominent alternate Yoshi colors in other games and Smash Bros. It's kinda shocking how that one got glossed over.

Respectfully, I don't think that is true, and I don't think it's particularly shocking at all.

Respectfully, I don't think that is true, and I don't think it's particularly shocking at all.

What @BriefCasey said is correct, Red Yoshi is generally the second most used/featured Yoshi color behind Green, and is the default Player 2 or first alt color in most Yoshi and Mario games. That being said, I don't think their exclusion is that big of a deal here, as they have chosen a pretty good balance of colors. I'm happy as long Light-Blue is represented.

It's just also a little saddening for me knowing that this is probably the only time we'll see more Yoshis considering they will likely take a different approach for year 3. I'm sure if anyone had a liking for Purple Yoshi, they'd be feeling similarly if Red was chosen over it.

Just for the record though, not saying this is a deal breaker that I'm going to hold a grudge against during the event, I know I'll still enjoy it.

Aside from that, the longtime Player 2 color not being in is simply why I'm somewhat surprised by the decision, even without favorite color bias. It's like if you could meet different Kirby colors but Yellow (who has always been the Player 2 Kirby color) is excluded for some reason. I'd also be surprised but not that bummed, but I'd know there'd be people who would be.
