The only place that comes to mind is where Toad and Yoshi meet, especially for bigger characters. That's the only place I can see being a flex space for those types.

If we ever get Daisy though, it's easy to imagine here where Peach meets, since even if it is themed to her, she is also a Princess. Same goes for Rosalina, even she technically isn't one.

That seems right to me.

I think the biggest reason we haven't seen new characters is that the current ones can't keep up with demand. As Nintendo fans, we might be excited about the novelty of seeing Daisy... but the majority of kids are probably interested in seeing Peach.

Toad, I think, is more of a flexible slot, and I could see them rotating characters with him at some point (especially given how hard he is cast).

Especially when they are selling plushies of her now. Most importantly, in the time I've gone to the park since then and the land's opening, I've seen kids holding the plushes, as well as having Daisy power up bands, and even kids dressed as Daisy while coming to the park. Plus, even I knew who Daisy was when I was a kid and saw her appeal. She'd absolutely be a hit if she ever gets brought to the land, especially when Mario Wonder finally gave her a proper main game appearance.

I expect we will see these characters in the U.S. eventually, but they're probably going to hold them back for special events.

On the subject of which, I'd hope they do Daisy justice and make her able to talk to guests like Peach can. I know it'd be a tall order but it'd be nice if they did it. Cause I think it'd look a tad egregious for one Princess to get the articulated treatment but not the other, especially when they look similar already.

Yeah, I agree with this. Daisy has been a pretty significant part of the Mario franchise for over 2 decades now, with her appearing in every spin-off game for a very long time. It seems like Nintendo has been trying to use her more, especially in the last couple of years following her appearance in Wonder. Peach is still the more popular of the two, but I feel like the gap between them has been narrowing.

Where are they going to put these theoretical characters, though? The land is already jam packed.

The Same Photo Op spots we use already.

As far as I can tell there is nothing stopping any characters from using the Mario/Luigi area, The Toad area or Peach area to also meet

On the Upper Lot, we have many spots where characters switch off meeting at the same spot, like the dream works area or on the front street

Bowser Jr could be at the toad area or M/L area, Daisy and rosalina Also fit at any spot but the Peach area makes sense and after that the M/L spot.

They can also have different characters in different seasons, like for example once Yoshi is done from Fan fest. Yoshi can meet in the spring and toad meets in the fall if the land does get too people but for now. If you simple switch off the 3 spots, it keeps the land more alive and allows people to meet the other characters they love and if these said new characters get a lose in interest, the next season you simply cut them


As for Fan Fest, close the Bowers Mini Game and you can have a few more characters in the land if you want there is space for three meet in greets in the large Game room and since its a screeen the backgrounds can be whatever they want as well

Also if we want to get creative then we can also have two sets of character one on each side of the warp pipe (but if you can't do two then just have one character in front of the pipe) and then you can use the Transformers extended Q as the line area for that character

I mean, the costumes already exist. I wouldn't doubt that we will see them used here eventually. Yoshi was USJ exclusive before appearing at FFN.

I'm willing to bet they used the USJ parade costume's schematics as a base too, since they had to make him look good for a photo op character. Still remember being pleasantly surprised that it wasn't a copy/paste of the Japan costume, so I can see other ones following suit if that's how it worked (no pun intended).
