I got my ticket, i'll probably go, but i'm still doubting anything theme park related. This seems to be a Universal Pictures only event.

The trailer will be released during the event.  They have instructions of no recording equipment of any kind to the point of heavy security.

Wow. That is crazy security...I guess they don't want the trailer leaking in the five nanoseconds before the official one. Also heavy security? For that money I would be guessing they would be putting the actual stars in the movie in the event?

Yes, the entire (living) cast will be at the event.  This event is being held by E! Entertainment.  It is supposed to be streamed live over social media networks tomorrow.

Hmm...maybe reason for heavy security is that E! Probably wants exclusive distribution rights to the taping of the premiere or something. I can see that happening.

Universal is now selling No Blackout and Premium Annual Passes with activation dates of 12/31/15.

So if you want to get your AP before the Potter price increase and have no blackout dates, now is the time to do so.

Except one issue...if I have a current annual pass, can I get a new one under my name as well? Or does it not matter since it wont be activated yet?

My current pass expires in February, so do you think when I renew in February, the other pass I'm holding till December won't be an issue...?

Disney and Universal have always kinda had that, where you can get the annual pass ahead of time as a gift for someone for example, but have to activate it by a certain point. I'm really considering doing this.My current pass expires in February. If I upgrade immediately, my new pass will expire February of 2016, sooner than Potter opens. So I'm wondering, with my next pass expiring in February of 2016, and with my additional pass having to be activated by December 2015, will I be able to have two activated passes under my name...? I'm worried that's a "No"...

Oh my god....they just pulled a price increase right under our nose.....

Premium pass is now $200 at the front gate! Discount to make it like the old recent price is only online now. I'm gonna get two passes right now...

So we have a $200 Premium Pass now with less perks than ever...and look how fast the increase happened. Right before the holidays.

It's all to prepare us for the massive price increase slowly but surely.

I guess I was asleep while it happened. $200 is crazy but with the direction the park is heading, it's only the beginning. Not surprised. The "future annual pass" and Wizarding World survey I took half a year ago showed astronomical prices compared to now, so it's just the beginning.

I'm probably gonna splurge on 2 passes, I'll thank myself later.
