Roboto is a horrible font. It's a ripoff of Helvetica and I don't think it represents the notion of progress at all. If anything, it's a step back.

Roboto Condensed? The new one in Android L? Try that one out http://www.google.com/design/spec/resources/roboto-noto-fonts.html.I think Roboto is GOAT, so we can agree to disagree about that, but Material Design is the best design philosophy out now period.

Hi,

Once again not certain I'm in the correct subforum, but does anyone know what they're doing to this small building between CityWalk and Flight of the Hippogriff?  They were still working on it (welding) after dark tonight with lots of flood lights.  View is from additional seating area of CityFood.  What is that building, anyway?

I have been told this will be an additional Maintenance Bay.  I have not confirmed that story.  Possibly for Hippogriff.

I now believe it is a maintenance bay for FJ.

The trash compactor behind the Studio Tour restrooms has received a Krusty-fied paint job.

At the south end of CityWalk the passenger drop-off is getting some work. 

Also, the new TFAW Comics is open.

The passenger drop-off work angers me. The new TFAW thoroughly excites me.

The passenger drop-off is done and couldn't be more boring.  If this is the finished product I'm disappointed.

Someone previously posted that the trash compactor areas was painted so I figured I'd follow up to show you that the area is cleaned up, the ground sprayed with grass seed (is that what that is?) and the blacktop laid.  Odd down shot angle on the first one, I know.

It doesn't look like the drop-off is completely finished, by the sights of those spray paint markings on the curb. This could have simply been a repaving, though.

This future dining and retail area is still just dirt, dirt, so much dirt.  Construction walls are pushed out on the English Street side and the graphic is foliage now rather than art deco or English.

That's... odd. I hope they can push those walls back in time for Spring Break crowds heading to Minion Mayhem.

I think the reason why there's no progress is because of the amount of projects going on at the moment. You have F&F, Potter, and Springfield all at once! I'm sure once Springfield is done, they'll go full steam ahead on whatever this will be.

Totally right Allen, and don't forget all those other construction things like the parking structure and road reworking. When Springfield is done I bet we're going to be blown away how fast the new restaurant goes up. Remember how Kong was just flat dirt for months, and then suddenly SPRANG up almost out of nowhere?

I have a feeling its for the lower lot due to the Jurassic World attraction. Now, I have hope its either the JW attraction or Seuss.

A Jurassic World expansion would be logical...and must seriously be considered if they are running polls for it. I hope it pans out. I say stage 28 if it does.

Back again today and noticed a small gap in the faux foliage (fun to say) construction wall.  This is Universal Plaza point of view looking toward Saddle Ranch.  They're digging deep.  They didn't haul the dirt away so I'm guessing they're not excavating the entire plot.  What do you think, will there be a lower level or is this just for foundation and utilities?  Discuss.  ;-)

As mentioned before, they're probably laying down pipework.

The receiving end of the Victoria Station restaurant had a lower level.  in essence, this was a 3 story building.
