I don’t blame anyone thinking they were possibly related (though Universal has never been the type to slowly roll out work walls) but to pivot to possible delays/cancellation is a bit much.

Also, the original demo permit was canceled. And refiled under a new permit recently, so they don’t even have the approved permits needed to begin demo work.

Well said. Over the years, it's usually been obvious that most of these other theme park sites and blogs steal much of their info
from the IU Forums, and post it as their own. The Forum conversations here often reveal the dynamics of a Universal decision months,
or sometimes years, before an outside site or blog tries to capitalize on those discussions as their own privy info.
IU insiders, with @Alicia as it's present most prominent contributor, are the best by far, and clickbait type
rumors have never been something IU does.
