The attraction/show is actually quite good. Very entertaining and well done. It's only negative is the lackluster ending.

I obviously like T2 better, but I'll give this a try, because I heard it has some references to the old show (hopefully some to the original preshow.) "Christ, it's Jim Cummings!"

So it seems like Bourne is struggling to draw crowds? Additional signage on Hollywood (along with a barker occasionally) trying to get guests into the show.

The show is great, so I have to imagine it's an issue of guests not understanding showtimes and where the show is? It's in a weird corner of the park that is often overlooked by most guests and UOR's app not being the best to promote showtimes seems to keep guests away.

This is the type of thing that happens when guests don't get printed maps with showtimes. I found it frustrating for all the shows, street shows also, in USF. But most especially Bourne. When we were there in early March, they did have a TM walk around the streets with a Bourne sign. But there was no signage near the show with the 'entire day's show times', only time posting was when the present show was about to begin.

I really hope it stays at Universal for a while. This is honestly my favourite attraction there

The old maps didn't have wait times in them.

Not true. The last couple years when they were slowly phasing out the maps availability didn't, but the years before did. I have a box of Universal maps dating to back 2010 that have the show times for all shows, even broken down into the two sets of days for times that depended on the park hours used during the week.

Beautiful. And...damn, there's even a 'live' show in the Fear Factor building....and that's when Universal's finances were weak.

This sucks to hear

USH to me feels like it needs another show....but this is not helping the cause. We can fault Universal but also to me this is on the consumers as well

Like do you not look at the app when your there and go under entertainment? Do you do zero research on what attractions are at the theme park your parking 150+ dollars for? I mean who goes to a theme park and doesn't want a show, every time I am going to a new theme park the shows are the first thing I look for so I know where I can take a break in the afternoon

Even without listed showtimes, a BOURNE STUNTACULAR graphic on a physical map would be helpful, I'm sure.

I think people (and certainly the people who were behind the push to eliminate physical maps) underrate the ease of pulling out the map and seeing the entire park layout and offerings at a scale that can be read, as opposed to the app's map interface (which can't display all the attractions in the whole park in a single "view" in a size that anybody could decipher).

Very disheartening. It's the best attraction (by far) to get put into USF since Revenge of the Mummy opened.

Looking at a map is actually much faster than trying to navigate the very overcrowded and complicated app. Also, why doesn't the app have a leaderboard of wait times like they have in the park instead of having to look for each individual attraction on the app?

I think the issue is how to easily access (and market) showtimes. At the moment, I have to either click on the entertainment section of the app and then hit list (if you don't know where Bourne is located on the map - which is the majority of guests), and then find Bourne... which currently sits for me at the bottom below a listing of meet & greets, character areas, musical acts at hotels, etc. Cinesational is listed above Bourne... which at the moment is not running.

IMO, those wait time signs throughout the park should show the full slate of showtimes, not just the next time available.

The easy quick fix is to add more showtimes on those wait-time boards throughout the park and to the front of the show's facade.

The long-term issue is to modify the app to feature a clean showtime board that focuses on major shows, not M&Gs. (Ref. SeaWorld's app below - it's clear and chronological in order)

It's kind of preposterous that this has not been the case. If a guest doesn't know when the show is running throughout the day, it imposes a barrier to them actually getting around to it. The guest needs some idea of when they should be returning, and they should be able to get this information without searching through the (less-than-ideal) app interface.

Actually, along with a better app design, even a better solution is to bring the maps back and/or have a paper schedule available at the park entrance. Heck, Disney does this....and Universal alludes to being as good as WDW for park guests. :D

I agree this would help, not against Universal doing better communicating information but also you can lead a horse to water....some people for whatever reasons refuse to look at things before they get into parks. I don't know I just like to know whats open, closed and what extra I might miss so I do at the very least a basic google search and or youtube video on a park, but you won't see me upset if Universal makes the app even easier to use and also have physical signs in area's nearby pointing you to a show and having all show times on it

Another comical aspect of the app: it doesn’t sort attractions by location, importance or relevance. It goes in alphabetical order… when you click “attractions” from the home page, the first thing that appears is Camp Jurassic and the Carousel

Now, once you somehow dig through the map section and eventually find the Hollywood location page, Bourne isn’t even visible without scrolling to the side
