They have begun to rip out the ground around that of the new Studio Mill.

I hear they are moving the area where they make props on site to this location

If someone else has heard otherwise let me know but thats what I'm hearing, so sadly doubt it will add much to the Tram

I've speculated it but I wonder if both the old mill and the old Sound Design building get torn down for re-routing of the main road.

The combined area of both would give UC a lot of space if the studio's willing to give what is old and obsolete buildings. Would suddenly make working on something over by SS15 and T-Pad more realistic and managable.

Thanks to @ethanuniversal's findings: The relocated Tech Services building has been approved of permits, with construction start to be whenever USH wants to begin that process of the new facilities that will replace what's over by Eastside Security Hub and H-Lot.

This is actually a pretty big deal judging by that leaked CowMissing video.

It's an important infrastructural step if they want to go in that direction, yes.

I hope so but....I've been on this site for 8 years and swear we have rumors of USH finally getting ready to go big...and nothing

People here know how bad I want this but...until we get some real rumors I just can't hype my self up...I'm tried of getting hurt, lol

For those that visit USH frequently, are lower crowds noticeable in person?

June saw a 14% decline in wait-times compared to last year. July is trending (so far) even worse with wait-times dropping by 25% compared to last year.

Year to date is looking 17% down.

Where do these numbers come from?

June for sure was not that crowded by by mid July we saw more normal longer waits

Keep in mind this seems to be repurposing quite a few things from the evolution plan, but it does go out of its way to show elements such as the Hotel for front gate, and Hollywood Drift.

The second hotel being next to Fast and Creative Campus is surprising if that pans out.

I posted the map here, also some quick highlights:
Waterworld replaced with an attraction with food, beverage, and merchandise (mini land?)
2 hotels
Soundstages being redeveloped for studio use, not theme park use
A bunch of stuff added to the tram tour, and some sort of tram tour area added to citywalk (possibly meaning tour will be separately ticketed?)

Even the map calls the new stops “new attractions” and not “theme park attractions”

I’m really bearish on replacing Waterworld. It’s an incredibly popular show, so popular that it’s part of a park that opened just under five years ago.

I don’t see how you replace it with a better quality attraction nor do I think it makes sense to replace unless you’re trying to turn USH into an AP-heavy locals park.

Can’t help to think that because this is a modified version of the evolution plan, that we shouldn’t adhere completely to them as if it’s gospel.

The USH hotel and Fast being there is great to see, and I imagine some things stick through, but I do think the lower lot and studio plans are more fluid than water.

If the SS16-24 expansion plan is off the table, that sucks hard. And Simpsons should be replaced long before WW if this map is indeed accurate.

This looks like a mess, at least for me. I’d rather them demolish Mummy and soundstages and expand there then ever have them touch WaterWorld. WW should be there forever, it’s something really special that nobody else has.

Also, more Studio Tour emphasis is great, but FOUR new “attractions” added to it is concerning. This reads like “we’ve completely run out of space to expand USH, adding more Tram stops and replacing a beloved attraction are the only things we can even think of to add more to the park and after that there’s nothing we can do but replace existing attractions.”
