Well, then I'm lucky I went on January 1st and got my last ride through in

I have no ideas what it will all look like in the end...but I hope all they are doing will end up with a better park and tram.

It really sucks losing old and iconic sets, Once Upon a time in Hollywood and a few TV shows were filmed there, so its not like its been that long since the sets couldn't be used but I'm just hoping this is all worth it in the end to make a better Tram

I do need to get on the Tram now...because my god how short is it now. Like No NY sets, no F&F. I feel like without the Desperate Housewives neighborhood you could be done before 40 mins...easy

Goes to my theory that the tram will be phased out in coming years. Again, just my opinion. But as it gets shorter, there will not be a need for it.

I went to the park today

1) Lots of characters out around opening, but strangely Mario Lugio weren't meeting much or at all this morning 1:30 PM was the next time to meet them and this was at like...9:40ish AM
2) Six Points texas is being slowly worked on and buildings are being take down some piece by piece
3) Hollywood and Dine is closed right now as they take away the Grinch theming
4) The Birds and Happy Gilmore both have merch now in the main shop when you enter the park
5) The Discount store was at 70% today...some good items in there but most the FNAF stuff was in too small or large sizes for me
6) Hello Kitty has some new pink T shirt and other new merch
7) Crowds were perfect today....Tramsformers had the longest line at 45 mins when I was leaving the park around 2 PM...so really good day to be there

It’s was just number 1 in guest interactions. I don’t think it’s going anywhere hahaha

I think we forget it’s the WORLD FAMOUS STUDIO TOUR

I was going to say....I'm pretty sure the Tram and WW are the two big attractions they want every guest to see when coming to USH for the first time...

So hopefully the Tram is just having a rough patch because....rumors of the War of the World sets going as well are coming up again...so I just hope they have a plan on how they are going to make the the next Version of the tram even better

Getting rid of the Studio Tour would probably be the most hated removal in Universal history. It's THE ride at Universal Hollywood. It's never going anywhere.

Tale as old as time: Studio Tour is expensive to run and maintain and occasionally causes friction with the studio side of things. Someone feeling new and bold in management or executive leadership explores what removing the tour or transitioning it to a VIP-only offering might look like. In the process, whispers of the tour ending leak out. The feasibility study comes back saying that would be catastrophic for the park. The idea dies until the next person comes along. Rinse, repeat.

Getting rid of the Studio Tour is the easiest one-shot possible in making USH the worst park in southern California. It can’t happen and it’s hard to imagine what replacement could even validate it

No replacement could ever validate it. The Studio Tour is several different rides in one. Sure, they could build out several new rides to replace it but the core part of the parks identity would be gone.

In fact, we already know what getting rid of the Studio Tour would look like from a popularity perspective. Kingda Ka closed a year ago and people are still very angry about it. Great Adventure park attendance apparently took a nose dive.
