I've heard Scrambler ain't coming back--but that was prior to the SFA closing announcement. I also noticee they have a Scrambler, so maybe that will change. I hope so, but not exactly holding my breath. And even if it did, since that park isn't closing until November of this year, we wouldn't see it until 2026 the earliest.
To me, the perfect spot for a NebulaZ would be Pistashio Park (the old Swiss Twist location... yes, I am that old). Thematically, it would certainly fit better in Steampunk, but I don't really see them clearing a level space for it (that whole area is on a big slant), unless they put it way down by Scream, which would make it pretty darn remote.
Sad when you used to think this park used to have: Drunken Barrels (Crazy Barrel), Trabant (Circus Wheel), Jolly Monster (double armed octopus), Swiss Twist (Bayren Kurve), Z Force (looping starship), Enterprise, Condor, Tilt-a-Whirl (under various names and locations), Eagle's Flight (double track Skyway), Musik Express (The Flash), Dragon (transportation ride), Galaxy (double armed ferris wheel), Spin Out (rotor), and Tumble Drum (a long spinning tunnel you could walk through).
I'm not even counting El Bumpo (water bumper boats), the train around Spillikin Corners, the monorail, or the Magic Pagoda.
The one hope is that Cedar Fair definitely seems more flat-ride friendly, so there's some hope they will recoginize the clear inequity and send some over as the next major addition to the park. It really needs it, especially when you realize the majority of the flat rides they currently have are 40+ years old as it is.
