I'm pretty sure next year unless something BIG comes, I wont have a pass.

They are taking away two exhibits (sharks and penguins...and kinda three if you count the Puffins) and we have nothing close to being ready for next year attraction wise.

Ya next year Is probably going to suck in terms of closed attractions and unless something starts construction soon there Will be nothing new and 2 closed exhibits. I hope that the end of 2026 start of 2027 additions address a lot of the parks problems. From shark encounter to the new penguin exhibit I guess we will see this fall during Sea-worlds announcement season.

Considering it took another year....a whole extra year to built the Jelly Fish exhibit I sadly doubt it

I mean even Atlantis wasn't open last weekend...so to me it feels like they just don't care about the guest experiences outside of shows. My main example of this outside my other examples is the joke that is the Swings ride....they had ONE person working it last weekend. So they had to offload everyone, and then a giant ruler (you could not built a high ruler into the Q for the TM to use?) to measure kids and then check everyone on the ride and start it....a ride with less swings then Disney's and takes about 2-3 times to get going because of how they run it

When we went they had one spot left and told them to put my wife on, I rather no go on on it then wait another like 6+ mins for a Swing ride

The fact that they closed Atlantis last October and didn’t start visible construction work on it until like a month ago really makes me upset. A similar thing happened with Jules of the sea where they broke ground in fall of 2023 and didn’t start visible construction until like summer 2024

I'm kind of surprised it's taking this long to fully open JTA, when it was looking so finished when I was there about a month ago and have heard it's already testing.

I'm going in about a week, figuring it had to be open by then, but now I'm not so sure o_O

I hope you get lucky and its open but they sent out an email saying APs will go on it first...which since nothing announced this week you'd be looking for AP previews next week and it being open to the public next weekend

But as someone who just went to the park....I feel for the most part they just don't care about how the parks work and with all these exhibits and things closing and nothing being made for next year

I just have no faith in this park at this point. I've sung its praises for years but to me the experience is going down hill and really don't see my self getting an AP next year unless they have an amazing sale

Sea World posted on their website that JTA will open June 20. Too bad I already made plans to visit it next week, missing it by 9 days :hmph:

I assume it just isn’t ready. Even if it’s been actively testing (no idea if it has or not), whatever media or show effects are in the few interior scenes probably just aren’t done.

After watching Defunctland’s excellent video on Submarine Quest, my expectations are pretty in the basement for this.

Well it’s a reverb on a pre existing ride not a new one it would basically be impossible to make the rides theming and story worse than it was the new paint is already a massive upgrade. Also it has been actively testing the last week or so. It’s mainly just going to be new paint, audio and projection effects in the room before the elevator.
