Saw this on Tuesday. Thankful I saw this with Regal’s Discount Tuesday because holy moly this movie was BUNS.

While there are some movies in the Scream series that are weaker than others (Ahem, 3), I wouldn’t say they were outright bad movies. Even the weaker Scream movies had their cheesy fun moments.

I would say this is the first legitimately bad Scream movie. I could tell Neve Campbell and Courtney Cox just don’t want to be there and did it for the paycheck. It was so frustrating seeing how many poor decisions Sydney and her daughter kept making. lol for Pete’s sake, you’re the Prescotts. You should freaking know better than to (SPOILER) Leave your panic room and leave yourself vulnerable in those thin walls [But that scene was probably the best of the movie lol] (END SPOILER). The reveal at the end was probably the worst in the whole franchise.

Kinda of a big spoiler here but If by some Christmas miracle they can even get Melissa Bererra back and properly close this trilogy they had planned (I doubt she will and I don’t blame her. She probably laugh so hard rn), They can easily ignore this movie and at the most acknowledge what happened here in passing. That’s how forgettable this movie is. I would love to see a proper closing of this saga but I don’t think it will happen.

At this point I think they need to let some time pass and do a proper ending for this. Give Sydney a break lol. Either leave it alone or go for the New Nightmare approach. Scream has turned into Stab.

I wouldn’t even bother if you’re a Scream fan if I’m gonna be honest. Movie was complete dog water.

The best part is she made a panic room...then made a path that was weak not just to guns but Knives, the Number one thing that's almost killed you like 8 times, lol

I still haven’t seen the movie yet. I don’t know if I plan to, but despite how many Scream movies there are, I would not mind a New Nightmare route if that were the case.

One where one of the killer actors is the main survivor in pure irony, lol.

At this point I really think this is the only way forward if they insist on pushing this franchise. At least there’s opportunity for them to say “Why did I agree to Scream 7?”

I kinda want this to happen now lol
