It was mentioned before by others that once Epic opened things would start to kick off in the other parks. It's very nice to see that happening.

Plus Tomfoolery said last year it would be F&F. Considering how he was pretty much inside Universal's system or adjacent to it, my money would be on F&F. While I'm glad the IP is on its last legs for the movies, the nature of a roller coaster will be a non issue for the GP.

F&F makes the most sense, business wise. We're pretty sure Universal wants a F&F IP presence someplace in their Florida parks due to the films, and not having to share merch profits/intake since its their IP. Plus they have a sponsorship with an auto parts company. And we also know that Universal wants to replace the present guest hating underperforming attraction. Rumor had it being replaced earlier, but postponed due to covid. They are doing a tit for tat replacement in HS, so it makes sense the same is occurring in Orlando, only with a different coaster layout due to the terrain.....Now, if the present F&F attraction, which is housed in a relatively new building, gets replaced by Ghostbuster, Jaws, Wicked or BTTF attraction of some sorts, that would be awesome......and a win win for Universal....and the F&F fans who always wanted a coaster type F&F ride.

Even though I've got my preferred theme, I do trust whatever they build is going to be sick. After doing Stardust and Velocicoaster (first time) on my recent visit, I have full faith that UC can execute a marquee high thrill coaster with multiple signature elements.

I must admit I'm a little stuck on how this will compare to the west coast version, because even just being around the completed track for that had me buzzing. But I'm sure they'll figure out a bunch of cool stuff, whether it's a vertical launch or swooping out over Citywalk or whatever else.

While there doesn't appear to be any plans to shutter Supercharged after the coaster comes online, it will hopefully render it irrelevant anyways.

Rumor has it that mgt. wavered back and forth on whether to shut F&F down permanently a year or two ago, and they did do it temporarily during HHN. It's only open because they need the capacity and they have a sponsor..
