Now that it’s confirmed to be (only?) in that location, how’s that going to work? Are they removing the games from the arcade? The ST store is already super tight quarters. Will Mummy be exiting elsewhere? Sounds like a nightmare crowd-control-wise…

That's my question for sure. That ride can pull some pretty strong crowds during HHN.

Not exciting, but it looks like Fallout/Galkn (new tents queue) are receiving covered queues with a temporary tent structure?

Much needed as that asphalt was brutal

They're removing the games. Not sure on the flow, but if I was Universal I'd have it start by the Irish shop and then move into the arcade and then check out in the first part of the Mummy store.

I’m not clear on why Uni feels this is a better choice then using the tribute location in Hollywood.

Is there any indication the Irish store is being used? Does it have a connecting passage to the arcade?

I wonder if they're implementing this due to the Stay and Scream change. They mentioned Fallout opening at 5:15 PM, so I bet a lot of people will want to be queueing up back there.

(not that they ever cared about people standing in the sun for S&S, but still)

I think they've realized that the event starting in August has resulted in more heat-related incidents, so anything to reduce people standing out in the sun is a benefit. There wasn't much shade with the traditional S&S setup, so this is an improvement as Universal can't take the blame (as much) when the entire park is available.

I do wonder how strict they'll be with guests queuing up before 4PM.
