Halloween Horror Nights 34 (UOR) - Speculation & Rumors

Going to do this here as I think it's a larger discussion at play.

With the age-gap of audiences for this year with HHN, with young audiences for FNAF and WWE, and with Terrifier being the first "Unrated" horror film series to be at Halloween Horror Nights: I am going to be on the side of belief, that we finally see them impose upon people the importance of "Age ratings".

Will it force Ops to turn people away? no, but I think there's a highly likely chance that with the range of IP's--that we see them go back to a play with Twister: Ride It Out, and specify that of the suggested age ratings of going into the IP houses.

Here's my thoughts....

Things translate differently between houses and films. It's highly possible if there was a film based on Triplets of Terror it could be just as over the top as Terrifier.

I've been through my fair share of haunts. Any haunt that tries to go as overboard as it can with gore and violence, those scenes usually just come across as cheesy or silly. While I have seen the films and don't see the appeal of them however still see how the effects are impressive (for the most part, along with the prosthetics and makeup) I think if it really is the bloodiest house there is at HHN, period, it's going to honestly just simply be that; the gore house.

Watching something happen in Terrifier and seeing it happen semi-realistically through practical effects, actors, camera tricks, etc. is very different than seeing it with static props at a haunt event. IT may be new and over the top for film, but it's really not new for haunt events like HHN.

He did and like you said he leaked. He’s doesn’t have anything to do with HHN or Universal announcements.

I wish we had an idea on just HOW limited the express was this year... that felt like the red wedding.

I honestly wouldn’t doubt it if the cap was the same as last year, but with the sellouts being something that had never happened before last year I think it just made people more anxious to get the FFs+E as quickly as possible. All three being gone within the hour is wild. RoF+E is still available, and I don’t recall that selling out at any point last year either.

I'm not surprised ROF+E isn't sold out yet, but am a little surprised if it never sells out again. I guess they don't see those missing out on FFs+E that wanted them buy ROF+E in addition to standard FF just to get 18ish nights of express.

More like 20 minutes it all sold out, but I too am interested in quantity available this year vs last year especially considering they almost werent a thing this year

Confirmation email I got for the RoF+E this morning listed this as one of the bullet points:

• This pass may be upgraded to an Ultimate Frequent Fear Pass with Halloween Horror Nights Express Pass only, on or before September 21, 2025.

Not sure if that would be possible with that pass being sold out, as I remember seeing some things last year but I recall people were getting conflicting information, with some being able to upgrade and other’s being told no.

Maybe he was supposed to make the announcement during SDCC but messed up and mentioned it during the wrong event?

Ultimately, Universal sort of won with me. I bit the bullet, and just ended up getting standard ultimate. I'm annoyed, but don't want to risk the inability to upgrade later if I had grabbed a RoF, and I'm a local now. If/When the event nights are too bad, I'll just use some of that "budget" left over and get piece meal express passes for certain nights when the Wife and I don't have energy to do normal queues....two years in a row now I wanted to get ultimate with express and flat out couldn't. Obviously this is a woe is me situation, but i always wonder what an average consumer experience is...

So I noticed something a bit interesting. Maybe I just missed it.. but I don't see any HHN branding on the Terrifier shirt. Could this be the house left off the UTH tours?

Also - I hate Terrifier. Watched the first one and decided I wasn't going to waste my time with the sequels lol

That said - I'm not going to deny it that it could make an interesting and fun house. And it is cool to see a movie with like a 35k budget end up as an HHN headliner within like 7 years.

Took about an hour or so for me. It varies from person to person but as long as the money came out of your account you'll be fine. It's coming dont worry
