I'd personally argue TF was the one that sparked the lighter for things, with Potter reinforcing (even if it didn't do as well as USH wanted). Things have turned up for the better, and that's now starting to be reflected with seasonal quality.

Not trying to derail the conversation, but it was King Kong 360 3-D that changed the tide for USH. Record crowds that summer.

King Kong was so popular it was a single attraction for HHN 2010

I remember that

It loaded at the Jurassic extended Q while the Terror Tram was in its normal spot

While this is going to be leaning on Orlando as a primary, I would advise people here on the Hollywood side to keep an eye out for the upcoming MegaCon panel!

First time I got to ride. It literally was really fun, the projectors were so crisp and bright

I regret to inform everybody that I have since seen the Ted show on Peacock, and not only did I enjoy it but I’m obsessed with it and pissed about the cancellation. This has shot up significantly on my hype list

The Funny thing is like K-pop Demon Hunters, ted would be almost too popular for the venue

Chucky got solid lines but Ted seems to be pretty loved by anyone watching it....and the new season will be pretty fresh. I think it would have easily had hour long lines most nights

Also side note question....just in theory...could the Jurassic area stay up until August and not affect the HHN house near Mummy? I hope so...just in case the plan is to keep the area for Mega movie summer

I find it hard to believe that, at least in Southern California, Ted is more popular than Chucky. Could be wrong, though!

I mean...Chucky show got cancelled and Ted is literally getting an animated series and the only reason we would not get a ted season 3 is because of budget

I'm not trying to throw shade on Chucky his show was good and his last house was the highlight of that year for me

But Ted is just newer, this is a fun concert and the new season is like the number one Peacock show right now and I think like Bill and Ted....sometimes things that aren't really Halloween just work at HHN. I know fans here don't want to hear that but we had a Halloween anime special last year and most normal people didn't care for it. So I think Ted would have done very well at HHN...it's just something new and exciting plus...I'm sure he'd be as cute as can be

I'm not talking about a television show, though. I'm talking about the popularity of these two characters at Halloween Horror Nights in Hollywood.

I mean...we won't find out but I'd bet Ted would do very well

Once again like Bill and Ted...nothing to do with the season and its not like Bill and Ted where "bigger" then Beetlejuice but the show worked and whenever I went was 100% full

I do this my self, we are all super fans but forget how many people are just normal people coming to these events. Some people just come to these events to do a few houses get spooked and would see this and if people are coming out laughing or saying good things...I just think it would work.

But for now we won't know and I hope whatever is in dreamworks makes people happy

I don't think you're actually reading what I'm saying. My take is that Chucky is very popular with the normal people you're talking about. I'm not saying Ted is unpopular, I'm not saying it wouldn't be a good fit at the event. I am, again, making a very narrow statement:

I think Chucky is more popular with the people who attend Halloween Horror Nights Hollywood, yes, including "normal" people, than Ted. That's it. Again, feel free to disagree with that! But don't put words in my mouth.
