I figued they sent it out first through IGN bc people who engage with that platform would be the audience they would want to bring in. Maybe people who weren't familiar or weren't interested in HHN but would be now bc of the IP.

Random but I'll never snicker at any predicted line up ever again. This years IPs really look like something posted in a facebook group in 2016.

We crossed the Rubicon with Ghostbusters imo. There's no going back from that, and the event has honestly grown to the point where more horror-adjacent general interest IP makes sense.

Clarifying also: this isn't necessarily bad! Bigger crowds means bigger budgets. We would've never gotten that Chucky house in like 2015.

As they should! Don’t care for either property that much but in order to do them right, they’d have to be fairly expansive. I’m happy they’re putting substantial budget into these. They must be really trying to win over crowds this year since last year was lukewarm (or actually blazing in that summertime heat).

Even if the tram is themed to Blumhouse again, that doesn't mean it will be an exact repeat. I'm guessing it will be more specifically focused on M3GAN 2.0 and Black Phone 2.

It just occurred to me it's especially smart to give IGN the Fallout announcement exclusive today, specifically - their site is likely receiving historic traffic thanks to the Switch 2 launch.

I don't think Terror Tram will be an exact clone of last year, similar set up, but executed better. (Hopefully WITHOUT that abomination Wolfman barn). Besides, it's not like we didn't have the same TWD Terror Tram for like 3 years back to back

It still baffles me how an event that brings in so much money has to suffer budget cuts or repeats. But I do wish we would've gotten something other than Poltergeist. Even if it was a thrown together original that can recycle props/sets/costumes..

Not inside information, but what I could see is a "Blumhouse Bar" in the Laemmle Courtyard, which is already adjacent to the Purge show (which I assume is coming back). They can promote M3GAN 2.0's home release + The Black Phone 2 there, with photo ops rotating between M3GAN and The Grabber.

After winning that "best show" award, I'd be shocked if PURGE didn't return.

I'd love for rotating photo-op characters in Lemmale like they did for Bride. Having characters there (& plaza) would be a great addition. Now if we don't get "Blumhouse Bar" I will riot lol

H&D Blumhouse overlay too. I'm all for these "mini themed lands" (like Parisian/Plaza/Fr st) for HHN. It's unique & fresh since we can't have a bunch of SZs anymore
