If the structure is indeed the boat house... would that make the new cement launch area the dock??

One picture says it all! you can make out the story, show scenes, launches, twisty bits, drop track and the water! Zoom in, open in a new tab and zoom in, lots of goodness to unpack here!
I have to say it again, Thanks Bio, and please go like his tweets!

Agreed, and especially when looking at the first launch now, it makes me think straight up that the first show scene, descent to launch, and the first launch will be completely enclosed.

If that's the case, holy crap this could get fun.

Now, wouldn't that be something that Umbridge would condemn in a magical school? ;)

On one of his other tweets it shows the clock building, those are not just evac platforms alongside the level track that go through there, much too wide.
I would chuckle if they put a fake unload in there....

Guess?

@Joe, @Alicia, or @Disneyhead can correct me; but I think Gringotts is around 250-300 Million.

Considering how much FJ was budgeted (131), and I think when you consider the cost of the attraction with the various use of interesting elements and possible practicality, I am going to give a ballpark guess of 225-275 million; because of the manufacturer, the new tech, and ride elements in scenic and filming.

Keep in mind, I think @Andy also mentioned of Kong having a bit of a lower budget than people would think, at around the 100-150 mark too.

But yeah, keep in mind that Hogsmeade was also budgeted at 250 when it was being developed for Orlando too, so there's that.

They are removing the crenelations on the tower and I wonder how that bunny hop through the Clock building will fit. It looks severe

Wasn't everest like 100 million? That sounds a bit high considering this ride is low to the ground with plenty of space to work and comcast doesn't have to build a mountain even considering inflation.

My mistake on that front. Forgot about Everest's costs.

Then I will retract it to about 120-145, but I do think Intamin's tech and the scenic/narrative budgets will be more of a cause to it being higher than EE.
