I didn’t see Rebirth, but didn’t that effectively drop the “World” aesthetic? So would a 2026 refurb to Jurassic World feel a step behind?

I can't imagine keeping this down all next summer unless something major is being done. My hope is the JW redo or enhance what is still there. I really don't wanna see the ride end with the Distortus rex.

I feel like if it is JWRA, it’ll be very close to the USH version. Not sure they’ll reinvent the wheel
again in 10 months. It’s possible - but it feels like an easy way for them to attract guests to IOA without designing from scratch.

Plus - the whole point of the ride in its current format is being on a journey in an operational theme park. The D-Rex is counter to how the ride is currently set up. The creature was a mistake and never brought to the parks so canonically it’s kind of weird to have a park with rejected mutant designs.

Anyway - the transition would give them an attraction next year, then the coaster in 2027 for USO. My money is on JWRA.

Looking back, they announced an expected timeframe and a "Stay Tuned" message.

It’s about time too! The ride needs major TLC and a deep clean.

Very interested to see what they do as far as AA'S go, the current raptor sculpt is not the original style, the rex could use an updated look, the dilophosaurs could stay the same, but man am I hopefull they give the outside dinos a modern upgrade. I believe Universal said in the hollywood refurbishment that they wanted to keep the stegosaurus as a homage to the past....please remove every single Dinosaur and upgrade them.

Anyone keeping an eye on the creature company? Any random possible hints there?

Creature Technology is responsible for JWA in Beijing as well as the theater puppets for The Untrainable Dragon. I'd think they would be tapped to work on this.

I don't mind if it's the exact same ride but with amazing new dinos. ( new technologies)
yeah make them move much more, add more dinos in some places.
I always wished that the ride was more like Dinosaur at Disney with more dinos in the ride, that disney ride had so many more creatures.

I don't mind if it stays Jurassic Park and they don't bring anything new. but at least add a couple more raptors or something
