It's obviously all rumours but a JW refurb here and the rumoured BTTF re-do of supercharged would suggest that Uni are looking at relatively lower cost ways to plus the existing parks vs rushing massive new lands and expansions.

I see these projects as a short-term plan in between major projects. Epic Universe this year, refurbs next year, Rip Ride Rockit replacement kicking off truly new offerings in 2027.

JPRA needs the former vine/plant covered canopy that the USH version used to have so it can block the view of Hogwarts

The entire lift hill after load should be covered honestly.

I 100% agree. It'll help with maintenance as well. JPRA looks its best at night, and very few people experience that unfortunately.

I feel this for most outdoor rides - but for JPRA especially. Completely different experience at night!

Sorry for being ignorant, but was the post that hinted at something happening actually for a full refurb or just the return of the missing animatronics. My little heart can't take the disappointment. I need JPRA to be good again.

Any further news on this? If this was a major re-do for 2026, shouldn't it be going down around about now?

I adore this ride so much, but it needs some major love.

Nothing's on the schedule yet, just Dudley in October. Going to take a guess it'll go down for refurb in either January or February for a few weeks.

This and ET are lined up for major Mummy-style refurbs. Not sure which one is coming first, though. I’ve heard our new for 2026 might be a stage show, but not totally confident in it.

Ooh! If you're able to elaborate, do you know where this stage should would be or would it could possibly entail?

I would love to not just see the current AAs refreshed... but also a couple simpler figures added like Hollywood recently got.

REBIRTH's box office should show that the "Jurassic" brand is still one of the major ones in Universal's arsenal, and should justify a little additional investment in this attraction.

Yes, a few minor, or mid major, enhacements....plus a full significant refurb, would be good. The way they've restored the queue, and parts of the ET ride, give me the clue that they'll go that way, or more, with JPRA.

I would love to see a total overhaul of the ride to have new effects (maybe not the Mosasaur tunnel), new or refreshed AA's and maybe an updated storyline. I know Rebirth isn't everyone's favorite but Dinos/ elements from that movie translate well to this ride imo.

Agreed

I dont care for the film but they have some great Dino's, just dont bring the D Rex and I think most people would approve

While this is my favorite ride and probably always will be - it definitely needs this. I'd love to see some more smaller figures along with re-done AAs for the dinos that are already there.

It would be amazing if there was a way to have a rex head pop up from the water before the final drop rex, but that would require a major demo in the main building I would think.
