To answer some questions (from my point of view):
I'm not sure if I like this better than Time Traveler. Time Traver is longer, faster, and feels more intense. But since the spinning is random, I've had both good and not-so good rides on it. But strangely, the fact that that F&F is not quite as intense, in a strange way, works a bit in it's favor, in that you feel ready to go on again right away.
I sort of liken this ride to Disneyland's Space Mountain in the sense that, while I doubt Space Mountain is anyone's Top 10 ride, it's something you go on nearly every time and enjoy it a lot. Now, I do think this is definitely more intense than Space Mountain, but I'm just saying that just because it may not be a Top 10 ride doesn't mean you can't have a great time on it and think it's a blast to ride.
I didn't hear any music on the ride itself... the audio was all just engine revs and tire screeches. It didn't bother me at all to not have music, but that's just my opinion.
The ride does feel short to me, but not really short changed, if you know what I mean. Remember there's no lift hill at all, it just takes off and goes pretty much the entire time. It barely slows down even on the block brake.
Whether you were using Express, SR, or stand by, everyone had to start with the queue outside the main entrance. And the entire queue is mainly to get a locker. Once you get it, Express and Stand by merge, and it's maybe 10-15 min past that. Even Express had to wait about 15-20 min just to get the locker. SR gets a locker the second you enter the main queue to the right.
