This might not be much and is just my personal opinion, but adding onto the discussion around Universal's dedication to maintaining sightlines... have they ever really cared all that much recently? Consider Epic Universe that is pretty safe to consider the product of EVERYTHING they've learned and has been propped as a sort of turning point for Universal's reign on Orlando. The park has incredible top to bottom theming and immersion... but there are so many spots in the park where you can just see other parts. You can see Stardust Racers from Isle of berk, for examples. I personally believe Universal does not care about sightlines, which isn't an egregious sin of park design but that's just how they are imo.
