100% it’s gonna soft open with fan fest. (Verbiage has been adding fast and furious behind the scenes could be misinterpretation tho)

Its not.


While its great to see people (finally) on the ride, they still have not cycled the ride with multiple trains at the same time. They are struggling to get the rides rotation programing to be consistent on the two trains they have on the track, and there are more trains that have to be programed and commissioned. There is no way they open this ride with only 2 trains available to operate.


I would expect to see soft openings in late June with opening in July or August, assuming they don't run into more issues with the ride.

Shot in the dark, thinking TM Previews and AP Previews throughout June, with softs intermittent during the time period leading to a July 4th Grand Opening Ceremony.

Seems they’ve knocked the spinning for the most part, so I think that is really good progress.

While I don't even have any "insider" observation, even just casual observation from social media clearly shows they are still having rotation issues. Heck, even one of the live rider videos that is circulating has a guy in the back car that was stuck in the sideways position for a good portion of the ride. Perhaps fun for that guy, but not great for GP experience.

There's still a lot of testing (for consistency/OSHA) to do.

Fair enough... but this time, it does make a lot of sense. They definitely are having trouble with consistent car rotations.

How delayed will it be? That likely is very unknown.

Not possible. The ride HAS to open with the spinning as that is one of the main reasons the park was even allowed to build this ride. They need to try and direct rider's screams as far away from noise-sensitive areas as possible.
