Fast and Furious: Hollywood Drift coaster (Opening 2026)

Well, I for one am going to have every day I go to the park thoroughly ruined for me because of this.

Two things: 1. I'm curious as to what a Fast & Furious ride building should look like other than what we got? I think it fits. 2. The fact that USH wasn't originally intended to be a theme park, it should be exempt from sightline debates.

I’m not sure and although I don’t like the brick box of doom (cold take I know), it unfortunately makes sense why they choose the brick warehouse as due to the limited land they had to work as well as it being on the side of the hill, the station/maintenance bay as well as the queue and other miscellaneous stuff got squished together to make a rectangular area. And since this ride is most likely very expensive due 1. Hillside requiring extra support 2. California being an expensive place in general 3. The ride being larger than other Intamin rides due to the technology present, Universal most likely saw the opportunity to go with an easy choice to create the station.

That being said I genuinely think I would have preferred if the station looked like the concept art station

Palms are now added, as I think the main mural is now complete as they likely try to speed on in getting the walkway as widened as they can ahead of HHN time.

Nice, They do try at USH with fans but more Shade is not a bad thing.

Also not a huge fan of the look of this area but at sunset with the tree could be a nice picture

While I love the addition of trees, I question whether palm trees actually provide any significant shade. They are really pretty (especially for us in the north who view palm trees as a sign of a warm weather resort) but they aren't really shade producing like oaks or maples. Stupid quibble, I know.

Dont think those are intended for shade, I assume the huge brick building to the right will provide plenty of that
