The immelman on Velocicoaster also doesn't look like an inversion but it most definitely is. I'm sure there'll be at least a tiny point on this dive loop that actually brings riders upside down.

Reuse/recycle. Green is Universal.

Sheesh. By the time I drag my butt back up to the park, the circuit might actually be complete. It's nice to see more track work done.

It's the similarly of the track layout between VelociCoaster & Hollywood Drift

Nothing more than over analyzing while we wait impatiently for more progress to be made. Vroom-vroom

The speculation/discourse on similarities and differences of the track banking for the dive down to below the Starway.

For what it's worth, looking at the photos more closely I actually think @jarmor has the right of it because of the banking. It doesn't necessarily overhang like that of the starting inversion of Velocicoaster; not in a way that it could be considered as a proper inversion.

For me it doesn't really matter how similar they look because the experience is going to be completely different. I honestly think Hollywood Drift will be more intense due to the location it's in. There's not many other coasters out there on hillside terrain like this. It's going to be special

I think it'll be more intense when factored the programmed rotations.

The elements on display with the ride will already be intense as it is, but with the MDC-Extreme's ability to coordinate where these cars are going; I think that's gonna give a much more freaky sense of excitement and adrenaline. It'll feel more like we are in these vehicles going about a stunt course as opposed to that of it being a simple multi-launch model.

Seeing coaster tracks over the Starway is absolutely bonkers in person.
