Broke in our new annual pass this week with three half days at both parks. Not a lot update-wise that y'all won't already know, but it was fun going in summer for the first time since 2021. I hadn't seen Haunted Mansion in non-Nightmare Before Christmas garb since 2023, so that was also a treat. I also got to walk into the infamous Madame Leota shop and ... boys, it is not very good!
As always, lots of fun seasonal crap to eat or purchase. These days that's with a 70th anniversary bent, but anyone who's spent time at Disneyland knows there's pretty much always an "event" going on so they can continue to bleed passholders dry. I for one welcome our rodent overlords.

Corn dog served with a blueberry compote from the Red Wagon on Main Street. The presentation was nicer than this when I got it, but carrying a corn dog and an Abominable Snowman sipper in one hand and a three-month old in the other comes with some sacrifice. Speaking of which...

The "stops" for the Trolley are still up around the park, so you get to feel that sadness at multiple times during your trip. Neat!

Refurbishment In Progress
Lots of scaffolding work going on at the Matterhorn, I assume to repaint the waterfall area on the Main Street side of the mountain. This was the most noticeable construction when I was there, though I only walked through Avengers Campus briefly.
