Since there'll be musical numbers....probably familiar and popular songs, the show might be well paced.

If they largely stick to flashy musical numbers with solid dancing and choreography, I think this could work as a de facto revue. My fear is they're going to rely too hard on unfunny quips and banter between the live performers and the Magic Mirror as each villain attempts to to clumsily justify why they've been wronged. I just don't see the Disney of 2025 giving this the bite it needs to make the most of its premise... but again, I'd love to be wrong.

This is exactly what I'm expecting.

And getting 40 minutes in air conditioning, off the hot asphalt of Hollywood Studios, sounds wonderful.

But if it has the same bench seating Racing Acadamy had, I don't think my back and butt will agree with that.

Clive said:
The issue, for me, is a show has to be really good to justify that kind of length in a theme park setting. Nemo in DAK and Frozen in DCA delivered, but I'm less confident about this given the premise...

This, too. Even then, they still ended up trimming down Nemo and that was a show that could justify its length.

I'd guess, since this is going to be a big time show, that they'll greatly expand the seating capacity, and probably have individual seating. The way that was set up for Cars, there was a ton of empty space.

The length of the Disney Cruise Line shows are around 45 minutes in length, including a Villains-themed one I saw onboard.

The pace can keep moving fast as they introduce new villains and set pieces, which is what I imagine will happen here.

Literally the teaser we got for this show is amazing. I actually can't wait for this show the musical numbers are going to be awesome and it's already sounding like a great show. Also I love how the stage concept looks. I'll link the teaser for anyone who did not see it also the villains have been announced it's going to be (Maleficent Cruella, and Captain Hook). Along with original scores that include (Rock and Roll gothic, orchestral) and a magic mirror musical number

The official description on the website reads: "Enter the realm of the Magic Mirror—where dozens of villains are trapped! They want the Mirror to reveal the truth: which villain has been treated the most unfairly of them all? Watch as Cruella de Vil, Captain Hook and Maleficent present their cases on stage, persuading with wicked wisdom and wisecracks. Will you be swayed by their hijinks and humor? It’s a spellbinding show with moving music and a most memorable finale—where you help decide who has been treated most unfairly".

Now you have all of the information you need about the show lol. Enjoy the show!

Please don’t have super high unrealistic expectations for this show. Just remember the Magic Mirror is really the centerpiece.

I never expected there to be a ton of performers and the screens to be doing the majority of the heavy lifting.

Disney is most likely just testing the Villains out and seeing the reception they get from guests.

The media package looks good and I'm sure the performers are going to give it their all, but unless there are a bunch of backup dancers and ensemble numbers that we aren't being shown, I'm less than enthused.

That’s fair.

I think people gotta start paying more attention to marketing because if look at this versus the Little Mermaid there is a substantial difference.

One gets into the nitty gritty with various details and the other keeps pushing the mirrors as the main gimmick for the show.

Spur of the moment visit to WDW & French Quarter in June due to some real good hotel rates. And one of the reasons also is the debut of the Mermaid and Villains shows, plus a new parade at MK. We love our Disney shows....I expect the Mermaid show to be real good from what I've seen. Villains is replacing the lackluster low budget Cars show, so anything is an improvement.....While Universal is crowded for Epic, I use the MIB advice. I'm zigging while most others are zagging. I have a super long, 17 nights vacation, at Epic in November so I'll enjoy a probably smoother working Epic then.

Just watched this video of the show

While it is only a 15min show, it is definitely a great addition. And has the ability to be different every time due to the "winner". This performance featured Cruella, Hook & Maleficent, but i could see other villains featured physically on stage in the future.

Cruella & Maleficent's costuming though is amazing. Money well spent in that department. Would be great if the villains did post-show meet-n-greet/photo-ops.

I watched the Hook segment yesterday. It seemed entertaining to me. Better than I expected. I only watched that segment since I'll be at DHS next month to watch the show.

The Cruella segment is amazing with costuming.
Maleficent segment is top tier with the music.

Yeah, this is a really nice offering at a park that’s basically all E-Tickets.

One of the things that I like about DHS is that they have lots of live shows that take up a good part of your day since they're much longer than 4 minute rides.

I liked seeing all the villains on the screen and there is a part where you can hear Frollo

Its a fun enough show and if they can have different winners then thats cool
