I ordered the 3 chicken finger combo (3 chicken strips, fries, toast and large drink) and it came out to $13.38 after tax. Not too bad for CityWalk pricing.

That's pretty good for fast food in LA period.

Just saw the prices and everything is about $1-2 more expensive than a normal location which is doable. I wonder how this will effect the sales of other eateries on CityWalk

Hard to say long-term, but I went by today around noon. Cane's was packed and Slice House, which usually gets decent crowds midday, was basically empty. One person in line, two people eating at tables, that's it. Probably more employees than customers.

Well, Canes has much more brand recognition, is the new kid on the block, and has a ton of glam to it. I think the Canes will always be a bit busier in general, but I think Slice house will hold its own in the long run.

Anecdotally, I ate at Slice House the 2nd day that Cane's was open, and Slice House was mobbed. As was the Canes. So I suspect both will be pretty successful. While I agree Slice House is a bit overpriced, their pizza is pretty dang good... much better than the pizza in the park, no question

We left the park around 7:30pm on Saturday. Cane's line went to the door, but it only took three minutes for me to get to one of the tablet ordering stations, and another three or four minutes to get my food. The team is massive and doing the work - really impressive for a new operation.

And with that said, I specifically took a look into Slice after hearing concerns about how it would perform with Cane's just down the way. Slice still had a healthy line, and I'd say the dining room was over half full.

In other words, I think they'll both do just fine.

Quick refresher, does Universal Cinema allow city walk food inside? I’m thinking of buying canes and taking it in before my movie Friday lol.

Pricing is not that much more. They probably know you could just go down the street to the Lankershim location if it got too expensive.

The Lankershim one (and the Burbank one, for that matter) are so difficult to park at. And the Lankershim one doesn't have indoor dining.

I'm willing to pay a bit more for the convenience.

I went to Canes on Sunday and got lucky it was right before a big rush but it took not time for my food to come out and tasted good as always

Its funny I was thinking this place would cost sooo much I'd never use it...now I'm like this might be my good to place for fast food, on my way in or out of the park
