I don’t have a ton of positives to say here. I’ll just say I’m not entirely happy with how recent dark rides have become just interactive video games.

My expectations were very low.

And I'm underwhelmed.

The lack of music is an absolutely baffling decision. That still wouldn't make it a ride I'd be particularly happy about, but it would sure help the inert and awkward progression of things.

The Universal opens are usually, seemingly, pretty fun. Even JW USH had some fun with Chris Pratt and the Raptor puppeteers.

What I'm arguably the happiest for--is the representation of Sam as Captain America for the land. Even if Steve is there from time to time, having the Sam Cap makes so much potential to see another major, significant, black superhero of massive nature be able to reach groups and ethnicities all around. Really happy for that.

Why are there more dynamic physical elements in the Spiderman ride from over 20 years ago than in this one.

The biggest thing I noticed during the ceremony was how much they strained in not mentioning the word "Marvel" during the ceremony. It was almost comical. It is what it is though, they could do a lot better, and didn't.

I didn't know a ride could be so awkward. It's just silence with a couple of zappy sounds and Tom Holland talking at the beginning and the end.

So basically you go room to room and sit stationary in a shooting gallery setting? I mean , could they not make the cars at least lift or mimic swinging so you can some what feel like Spider-Man? They could literally replace with screen parts with any other character and give you a different weapon to use. Extremely boring

If a brand new ride is opening, I don't think I'd want the first POV to come out to be missing ride audio (both music and voice audio), since that's not gonna' do the ride any single favor.

On the other hand, with the missing audio it does bring focus into the core ride itself annnn...I'll give them this. I can't recall seeing a POV which has left me so utterly befuddled.

I legit hope this rides better in person than it looks on film, since when this is the first from-the-ground-up attraction of a gangbuster IP, and it looks to have less variety and looks less fun than another 3D shooter in the same park that opened around 13 year ago...OOF.

Want to make a Ride with Spiderman? Yessss...do you want ZERO villains from one of the best rogue galleries ever? WTF are you talking about n.....let me stop you there instead of coll villains you love we at Disney have a big Mech Spider.

This is what Disney has come to.....Pirates with like 30+ characters and HM with like 50+ ghosts we get a ride with Robin and merchandise. I'm sorry but who ever green lite this should be fired, anyone Spiderman fan could come up with a better ride in 5 mins. Lets not even talk about the DLC is 60 bucks for the web slinger

Now and this is Universal too, I think every new show just sucks...they are boring and generic. I like the new flipping Spiderman but its 5 seconds of a 3 min show that feels 5 mins too long. They must have really avoided the MCU creators because even Ant Man 2 was more exciting than this....also I never want anyone talking poop on Mario Kart if they like this... Mario Kart is SSS Tier compared to this crap

But did you know you can see the characters from the land on Disney+? For instance, you can find Captain America wandering around, the hit new character from the Falcon and the Winter Soldier, available only on Disney+.

Did I mention the land has Loki, who will also be receiving his own show on Disney+?

EDIT: (Seriously. Watch the opening ceremony and count how many times they mention Disney+).

It looks not that fun to play, the ride itself is generic as is the Q. I just can't get over how bad they screwed this land up. The Strange Show has some cool effects but its soooo....soo boring my god taking my boy Dr Strange and crapping on him. I hope at least his area at night is nice to walkthrough. The Restaurant theme is kinda meh but the Pretzel effects and big items decorations I like...just the rest of feels so generic

Also most comments on the Youtube videos are positive...so the public likes it...god as if I didn't have another reason to dislike the American Public..lol

TPI has a video which has ride audio, but no music. Though comments have confirmed there -is- music on the ride, so for it to not be working or straight-up muted for the media POV's is not a good look whatsoever.
