Universal doesn't have to pay royalties out the nose for Jason Bourne. They're not going to give Nintendo gobs of money to build a Metroid ride or a Star Fox ride because no one cares about them.

I’m not saying attractions are coming but don’t they already have the rights? The way the announcement was worded gives the idea that Universal got the whole kit and kaboodle, not just Mario and their other big IPs. Since Florida will have much more space than anywhere else I’m starting to expect at the very least some small representation. As an example, I’d be surprised if Captain Falcon is nowhere to be seen. Thanks to Smash he is pretty well known even if his actual games aren’t. As for Samus maybe she can show up with Kirby.

So here is my guess for right now.

1. Super Nintendo World (Mario, DK, Zelda)
2. Jurassic World
3. World of DreamWorks (Panda, Dragons, Trolls, Shrek, Croods)
4. Wizarding World of J. K. Rowling (FB)

Well you were pretty much just saying don't listen to insiders, but either way, things should be a bit more stable now. The only reason things happened with Nintendo the way they did was because they realized they needed a headliner for the new park. It also may have coincided with the LOTR talks going south.

No, I'm not trying to say "don't listen to insiders". Hell, I was one of the people claiming up and down that Nintendo was going into KidZone...because it was. My point was nothing we hear is gospel, and anything and everything can change at any point.

Remember, the people building Toon Lagoon were getting changes *daily* because certain licenses were gained and lost during construction.

Yea, we know that as of now LOTR isn't in the plans. What happens next month when Universal decides it's worth the money the Tolkien Estate wants, or what if the Tolkien Estate decides that Universal is the best option for the property in a theme park? All of a sudden the entire ballgame changes.

Well obviously any rumor is just that: A RUMOR!

Rumors change. I think most realize that things can change and insiders aren't the be all end all for information. Universal changes their mind, which is probably the most important thing to keep into account.

Exactly. I have no doubt that most of what we've heard is true *right now*. But that doesn't mean what we know right now will *actually exist*. There's a long time between now and 2023.

What if we got a Jurassic World hotel? They could connect it to the park via monorail, using the Hogwarts Express technology to make you feel like you're traveling alongside Dinosaurs.

They already have JP room suites in one of their onsite hotels. If there was more demand they'd probably just add a couple of suites to the mix.
