Let’s try this again...

My images show the layout of Japan and how it would fit into Hollywood. Notice there are a few major areas which need to be worked around: Lower Lot Parking Garage (Carl Laemmle Bldg), James Stewart Ave, Jurassic Cove Cafe, and Main Street which will need the tram to conitnue access around the land. I have no doubt that some adjustments will have to be made in order to keep Japan’s overall experience and make it fit into Hollywood’s property. I believe Ninetendo is going to get very close to Jurassic Park and Transformers.View attachment 7404

If they go with the idea of reworking things, I would think that they would change the flow of the land from the others, as opposed to having the JW Extended Queue and Parking Garage get lost.

I believe, something like this will be more likely.

Agreed. Thats more soundstages to be demolished then.
Not sure they will come that far out into panda express space though, think that may be re done as some kind of hub with SNW entrance behind.

I believe that regardless of what happens, Panda and the current TF Extended won't be long for the world. And that, if it's not used for Nintendo, it'll be extending the footspace of the LL.

Agreed, but as I said I think it won't be used for SNW. If anything they need to open up more space for people flow.

On a different note... SNW is supposed to be multi level and for Japan they are talking about 2 level. As we have a smaller park could it be possible that our SNW is on 3 levels? Then they can fit more in without needing more space.

Seems like that's the most likely scenario. Sucks that it's unlikely HHN will get a proper SS venue or two in the future.

I would be shocked if UC doesn't design something for SNW that gives way to having some form of aid for Horror Nights in the form of some sort of venue. Even if small.

Japan and Orlando would've been 2 (would've for Orlando, considering the changes), Considering the odds, I would actually not be shocked if Hollywood would go 3 level, just to cram as much as they can.

That would be nice. Would it kill them to build a small warehouse just to put a house or two in there? I understand you gotta make room for bigger changes, but you also have to leave SOME room for your biggest money-making event to prosper.

Some of those height balloons certainly look like they could be for a 3-story building.

I'm not sure if I'm imagining this or not but I thought the only two story area of this land (not including the attractions) was going to be the food court/dining area? Not sure how they would stack the entire land on top of itself to fit more things....

I was able to locate all of the height test balloons. There are a bunch that I missed the first time around. The tallest red balloon to the left leads me to believe that the soundstages behind 22-25 will for sure be getting torn down.

Here's my attempt to pinpoint them on an aerial map.

Wow! This actually looks quite promising now that I can see it from an aerial point of view. I have high hopes that SNW in Hollywood! :)

While true, you also have to remember the Transformers franchise isn't exactly going so well critically and financially, at least for the last movie. So it might not last that long unless the Bumblee movie is doing so well.

I was thinking this too. I feel that Transformers does have staying power for a few more years, but eventually, it's going to have to be replaced with something bigger and better with a stronger longevity than the Transformers franchise. I just feel like the franchise's popularity is rapidly decreasing.

It's..varying.

MarioKart, will be on the second floor, as you can see in the concept art with Bowser's Castle. And Yoshi, seems like it'll have an entrance on the first, with ride on the second floor.

And that's not mentioning Shopping, Dining, and the little play-areas that'll have a lot of interactive moments. The amount of stuff in SNW, is going to be huge. And that's not even talking of the little details.

You also forgot to mention the Bowser Jr. mini-attraction that @Alicia alluded to. This land is going to be incredible!

Excuse me, but I don't think I've heard of an attraction of Bowser Jr. being mentioned by me.

Perhaps, I may just be...shall we say, not remembering of what someone else said.

AR kiosks, VR games, interactive play areas, hidden collectibles, and more have been rumored to be scattered around the land. Not sure which parts are true-or if all of it is-but no matter what, the level of detail of everything being planned to be jammed into the SNW projects is staggering.

I was actually telling my little brother earlier about Bowser’s Castle holding Mario Kart and he said “Well, Bowser Jr. should have his own ride too!” We had a fun brainstorming sesssion about what the ride would be (a small kids raceway with clown cars like the ones in Legoland with a Bowser animatronic yelling to herald the end of the ride). Anyway, he’s super excited for the world and has told all friends. They all play Mario Odyssey on the Switch so I imagine this world will be the new thing to pester their parents about once it is opened.

Have you told them that there's going to be a Donkey Kong coaster yet? Or that there might be a Zelda land as well? (in Orlando)

Yeah, he knows about all the characters because of Smash but he was definitely more excited about Mario and (given his exposure to the franchise) kept on asking me if New Donk City would be there or any other Odyssey elements. The Switch was sort of his first exposure to Nintendo games, as I imagine it was for many of his friends given the five year lull between the Wii U and the Switch.

EDIT: I was actually talking to him more about the one in Hollywood rather than the one in Orlando, given that Hollywood is closer.

And by the time SNW opens, PC's little brother is going to be a grown a** man. Lol

All kidding aside, I'm very excited for this land. But I'll just say this. It's a crime that USH will not be getting a Legend of Zelda land, my favorite gaming franchise of all time. It's a damn shame.
