Would you rather have a small, super-crowded land in a existing theme park, or a big, less-crowded, better land in a new one?

I'd rather have whatever results in multiple, substantial new rides in the KidZone area within the next 3 years or so.

You can't center a castle that it is that reminiscent of Cinderella Castle in the center of a new theme park in Orlando. You just can't.

Now, if you have a park that has 4 or 5 castles, one per land, I say go for it.

That would be indeed crazy if uni was to build Cinderella castle on steroids, also a reach because it's like peach doesn't even have a storyline(yet) big enough to justify it. Still would be a major dig and very petty. I hope they just keep it classy now that the possibilities are limitless.

I tend to forget what I read here as rumors as opposed to what I may have read in the business news.

Has UNI ever ‘announced’ anything other than that their partnership with Nintendo would bring experience to their resorts and that Japan would be first?

Heck, when folks start comparing to Disney and Avatar, I seem to recall they also said Avatar would be represented at more than one of their resorts.

Really, just wondering if there was ever some sort of official anything that said Japan first, LA second and Orlando 3rd or 2nd...and if they all would start with MK...I just really think everything outside of ‘something is coming starting with Japan’ was a lot of smart arm chairing, but I did not think UNI ever commented beyond things starting with Japan.

Never said a timeline except for Japan. They did release a blog post early this year saying more info about SNW would be released though.

From that though, it doesn’t seem any different than what I thought. We will see Nintendo in Japan, Orlando, and Hollywood. From that set, I would think Mario Brothers, nothing saying Kart at all parks, DK, Yoshi, Poke’mon...i’m Just saying I think it was smart armchairing thinking Orlando would be second and I imagine it was in the plans that way...

I also think Comcast knew they could get a settlement w/ issues on the new land....then tax laws changed to encourage investing in growth...

But I do not think they’ve backed off a promised order and timeline as I think the only real ‘announced’ info was that Japan would get the first land/area....

If I remember correctly it was Nintendo that started talking about the deal. Universal had no intention of announcing anything about it since any attractions were so far off.
