I agree that something that can do a good night time show is a must.

Yeah, something specifically designed with one in mind would be ideal. That way the park is pre-designed to have nighttime shows and they don't have to find awkward ways to do it like with CineSpec.

I think a park that can have a decent parade route would be nice too.

When I asked at Cowfish if they were operated by Universal for a friend who was job hunting they told me yes.

Yeah, something a bit longer than what we currently see at USF would be nice. And of course a longer, better parade, but that's another story. USF's route is far too short for parades that tend to be a bit longer as we see with Macy's and Mardi Gras, the parades circle around and by the time they're all out on the streets, the first few out are on their way back in again.

My completely baseless prediction is that they will use some of the new land for some sort of horror/scary experience. A permanent home for HHN and/or a daytime park with rides and attractions based upon horror IPs, Universal Monsters, etc.

Imagine what Universal could do if they could build a HHN house from the ground up as a permanent experience. Think Dueling Dragons queue quality. And not a maze you're forced through with a bunch of drunk people -- a high-quality experience over the course of 20 or 30 minutes as you move from room to room and experience live theatre and state of the art effects.

HHN is too much of a moneymaker for them. It's time to take it to the next level.

I'm shocked they don't have a "haunted" type ride at Uni. I don't like the idea of a permanent walk thru, but a ride that could utilize a trackless system and the show scenes were periodically changed like a HHN house, that would be cool.

Agreed, USF is not set up for parades at all. I don't think they could add even one more thing to the Macy parade without running into issues of the beginning touching the end. Since they use the same entrance and exit this would be an issue.

Wasn't the old route different? Maris Gras used to start next to fear factor live.

I've always wondered why nobody has ever built a Scooby-Doo themed haunted mansion. I think something like that would be popular with kids young and old.

I'm guessing by haunted mansion you mean just a dark ride? Because they have actually. It was designed by Sally Corp and they had versions in many parks across the country. There is only one left operating in the U.S. I believe (Six Flags Fiesta Texas) as the rest were rethemed to the companies "Boo Blaster" line of dark rides. There is also the great dark ride/coaster Scooby Doo ride in Australia.

I think a wild mouse coaster in the same vein as the one in WB Movie World would be pretty neat. It'd be pretty family friendly and it would boost the park's coaster count. It would also be a really nicely themed experience that would be a departure from simulators.

Based on Teebin's post. It was a guess based on what he was talking about.

Ah, I missed that one.

I think anytime after 22 is late for a 3rd park. In fact, I think 22 is late for a third park.

I'm planting my flag that 2021 is when we get that.

That would fit in for good timing to combat WDW's big anniversary. And also solidify Universal's competitive position before Disney gets around to post Star Wars expansions.

Are you thinking Park 3 will have a Potter IP since that's not on your list? I'd think some type of Potter, be it Forbidden Forest, Beastly, or MM will be at one of the Universal resorts in that time frame.

Yes. I 100% think Fantastic Beasts will be a cornerstone of a new park. I'm also still assuming FFL will be replaced by MoM at one point or another.

No no no no! That was only a joke to get people to talk yesterday. Scratch 2021-2026 from your brains as it was just fluffy type for fun!
