The original poster, Teebin, was discussing the tour-de-force that is the backwards portion of EE in the Yeti thread and jtsalien brought up ROTM first.. So why don't you call out everyone guilty of discussion on this discussion forum.

I missed that post form jts, so I apoligize. However, I still stand by my point of elaborating your opinion.

That it'll be refurbed after Fantasyland's expansion? It WILL be refurbed one day, as all rides are, and it will most likely be post Expansion. That sounds like a safe bet if I ever heard one.

Right. but the way you said it sounded like it'd be right after the expansion, which isn't the case.

EE won't get a refurb until DAK gets an expansion.

There was rumor of Tokyo wanting rights to EE in exchange for JCE. One can only hope.

I'd definitely want some sort of attaction for it, but at EPCOT. It doesn't really have anything to do with animals (desides dinosaurs, which are already well represented in the park) and i would fit with EPCOT's exploration and technology theme. But still, Animal Kingdom definitely needs at least a big expansion and I think that Disney could resurface and manipulate the old Beastly Kingdom blueprints. And EE won't get a major refurb until the expansion can draw guests away. This could take a while

That would be a perfect trade. It'd be amazing for AK.

I thought it was obvious with EE that "Beastly Kingdom" was out the window. EE has already opened the doors to mythological, but in their respected continent of origins. Think if they ditched the Dinorama for Journey? It would be a tremendously welcomed improvement.

What would be amazing would be the results of the OTC and EE. Just look at what the OTC did with ToT, Winnie the Pooh, and Monsters Inc. Combine the two and the result will be another MAJOR WIN for Disney fans as well as an added reason for me to get to Japan within the next 5 years.

Yeeeeeeeeeah . . . Kinda forgot about that. Man, it bursts my bubble every time

But that means there's still room for mythological, it's just not all concentrated to one land. I'm trying to think of creatures that could work for the continents, but that would require knowing which continents are included in the park  The sad thing is, most people probably don't know, because they go there once or twice. God, we need an expansion SO bad.

EDIT: Wow. I just found out that only two of the lands are continents. I really know nothing about AK. I feel kinda bad now :mean:

EDIT AGAIN: I googled african mythological creatures and found a promising one: the lightning bird. Here's the wiki page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lightning_Bird I hope Disney continues with mythology. It really works, you can take it to any kind of attraction and ride system, and the guests love it. Let's not let Beastly Kingdom be completely forgotten.

IF Journey is ever built, it won't be a clone. It'll have a new story that is Beastly Kingdomme esque. From what I understand the plans for DAK had it based around a Unicorn.

Yes, I'm serious.

Well three, really. Asia, Africa, and U.S.A. (Dinoland: U.S.A). I wish Australia would join the club.

Well in Asia they could just add dragons, those are big in Asian culture.

I don't. It's the last thing I want added to DAK. Gimme South America, the Arctic, and even North America before Australia.

Sea World has the Arctic covered. Australia has some of the most interesting animals on the planet. Frilled lizards, kangaroos, platypuses, the most poisonous snake on the planet, Nemo. It would fit in perfectly.

So? Disney opened up a movie park because Universal was, and opened DAK to combat Busch. To say that Disney won't do something because someone else did is obviously false.

Meh. They're also very small animals that don't need an entire land to showcase them. Throw some on the Oasis and be done with it.

Australia does sound cool. But, then again, I'm down for anything with platypi

And I was thinking about dragons for Asia, but I don't know if there's room, and EE dominates asia right now, so I want to give osme other lands some love. Especially the "temporary" ones. Not to mention, a dragon coaster was in the works for Beastly Kingdom, but Islands of Adventure opened with Dueling Dragons, and that's one of the main reasons they scrapped the expansion. But if they didn't do a coaster (or a unique one) and emphasized the Asian influence, it could work.

To add, Disney planned their on-hold "Night Kingdom/Jungle Trek" as a way to combat Discovery Cove.

As JungleSkip said, so? SeaWorld's sister park, Busch Gardens, has a brand new Australia section. Just because something has been done doesn't mean it can't be done again differently. Animal Kingdom also has an African section and so does Busch Gardens. Animal Kingdom has a dinosaur section and so does Islands of Adventure, etc.
